Potential fallout from coaching change

Does anybody think Steve Alford would ever be a good fit? Nobody mentions him anymore, to emphasize on my question I'm not saying yes I'm just asking what others think

    Peter Jurkin leaves Indiana

Kind of always knew he wouldn't turn out to be much for us, always wanted him to though, would of been awesome to see him dunk on somebody and be able to say that dude just got jurked on.... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  3. Since I've started really following I'd say 1. Strickland 2. Gordon 3. Oladipo 4. D.J White 5. Zeller Bench Coverdale, Guyton, Moye, Wilmont, Kilingsworth, Jeffries Would've maybe put Vonleh up if he was to play another year to see more There's a few guys I could take out and put in and debate it over and over again but for now I'm going with this Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Who would you hire to replace CTC?
Ollie did a great job, but I want to see how he does going forward. You could make the argument he inherited his team.
I have recently thought the same thing about those players were Calhouns guy, kinda like what happened to us when Mike Davis and the guys went to the national championship and lost to Maryland, those were Bob Knight players and it all proved so shortly after as he year after year buried his face is his hands on the bench.... Who would you hire to replace CTC?

I'm really reaching here but I was sitting around thinking about what Kevin Ollie has just done with Uconn. And I thought of a name that obviously isn't rumored or probably not even mentioned anywhere. And I'm not even saying it would be a good or a bad hire, but how about a guy who has been an assistant for quite some time on the NBA level. A big man so he could teach post skills. Not sure if he would ever be interested since there isn't any ties, but we don't always need to look for an "IU Guy" but the guy I'm thinking of is Patrick Ewing. What would anybody think of him as a coach at the college level? Please don't criticize me more just throwing a name out there to see what people would think Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    UK sucks
"Napier and Shabazz are unbelievable". I know a UK fan that actually said that, apparently he's too dumb to realize they're the same person. I have no problem with UCONN winning it, I've always liked them a bit. UK on the other hand, I hope they suffer a record breaking defeat, something like 10000000000000000000000000000000 to 0 should do it.
Oh thank god! At first when I was reading your post I was smh until I realized you were speaking of somebody else who thought that they were 2 people lol Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Who would you hire to replace CTC?
I just wish people would allow the fact that Brad Stevens coaches the most storied NBA franchise and is locked down in that role for at least the next 5 years to sink in their brain. On top of that when asked about missing Butler he said he misses the people and the school but none of the particulars of the college game. Brad Stevens is not walking through the doors of Cook Hall Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
Have to agree with that. Not sure how he is gonna pan out on the NBA level but he ain't going to leave after 1 season or even 2 unless they fired him. So he is not an option Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
