  1. That's not going to get Woodson in a better mood
  2. Thankfully Northwestern isn't a great shooting team. They've gotten some decent looks. This second half worries me with how few players we have available. These guys are going to play more minutes than they are accustomed to
  3. Weird how Childress gets in before a scholarship Duncomb. Different positions, but just an odd look and doesn't inspire confidence for future seasons
  4. Leal came closer on that half court heave than his other two 3pt attempts. What a weird night
  5. Do get some more interesting lineups tonight than we've seen this season. Not sure we've had Race, Trayce and Geronimo on the court at the same time this season
  6. For how fundamentally sound Galloway is, he absolutely struggles inbounding the ball on the baseline
  7. Just looked incredibly high to me, especially the second one. The angle might be a factor as you pointed out
  8. Yikes, thought Leal was supposed to be our shooter tonight. That thing is bringing rain - so much arc
  9. Missing X early. Turnovers are a problem
  10. Hoping Galloway can have himself a game and convince Woodson to alter the starting lineup a bit and insert him in there. Break up that Kopp and Parker pairing. But lets get that W first and foremost
  11. Lander is averaging 10.6 PPG this season! That's got to be a typo, right?
  12. Aren't we forced with door #2? Lander is out based on the tweets
  13. And the PG play was spotty earlier this season. Tonight should be interesting
  14. 17 point defeat is deflating. Thought we'd continue to hold our own, but we just collapsed in the second half.
  15. Don't disagree. Wish the staff would be more focused on trying to get Parker looks or even be more aggressive in taking shots. If he's not scoring it's hard to justify keeping him in for extended periods of time and he and Kopp both were in for close to 8 consecutive minutes to start the second half
  16. Most definitely, but in my novice view of the NBA, there are plenty of guys that you could find to fill that role in the NBA that could provide more shooting and rebounding than TJD would provide as a rotational player in the NBA. Again I don't watch the NBA, so maybe I'm wrong. I'd take your more educated word for it if I'm off base, but with him not being able to shoot and being undersized for his role, I'm not convinced NBA teams would be eyeing him for that type of role
  17. TJD is getting worked by Cockburn. TJD is good, but it's nights like these that prove that he'd struggle in the NBA. Without a jumpshot, he'd have to bang down there every night and he simply struggles with size
  18. Beat me to it. Neither is providing the offense that one would hope for how much we sacrifice on defense with them in
  19. The Kopp and Parker pairing isn't the reason for the loss of lead, but I still don't think that's an optimal lineup. They were out there for a long time to start this half
  20. I'm afraid you're right. We're not hitting shots, and Illinois guards are getting hot and we don't have an answer for Cockburn inside.
  21. Pick and roll them to death with X. Backing Cockburn down with Race and TJD isn't a recipe that's going to work
  22. That was a bad few minutes with the starters too. This isn't a good matchup for TJD. Cockburn is too big and strong for TJD, he needs to dish that instead of trying to force a reverse. Let the game come to him. Pick and roll with TJD and X worked, do that instead of trying to back him down
  23. Where is Galloway?!? Riding these starters a lot this half already
