Oh trust me, they all know I am the only American on the block. I am not yet fluent in German, but I understand enough! :) The Swiss are not very welcoming to foreigners. Unless you are on vacation and willing to drop 10's of thousands of dollars.

This first half is unfortunately showing the committees that set these bowl games knew more than we thought they did. I sure hope the 2nd half makes me eat those words.

This has nothing to do with matchup. IIU just isn't playing the same game they have played all year long.

I'm sitting here in my apartment waiting for the game to start. One of the things that I like least about living outside the US, is missing IU Football. Yeah, I've been able to watch all the games on TV, but it just isn't quite the same though. Now that I am a little older I finally have the means to go to a bowl game. I took my Dad to the Pinstripe, and Foster Farms. Last year, my sisters and I paid for our parents to go the bowl. Would love to have gone this year, but flights from Europe are lot more expensive. So I'll just be here wearing my IU gear and cheering loudly! Go IU!!!!

I think this is the right answer. IU fell out of the NY 6 because of a century plus of football futility. There is no consistent brand other than negative. I will grant that we played OSU better than anyone else this year, but all anyone can think of is that the conference was awful this year. Three of the four biggest names in the conference simply sucked this year. I don't see any way we blow Ol Miss out of the stadium. I think IU will win, but it will be by less than 10 points.

I have gotten pretty good about being able to stay away from sports pages, and Social Media when I really want to watch a game, :). My WI friends all laugh at me, because my wife and I have watched the Packers for Monday Night Football practically all season long.
