IU 42 NW 13 i din’t think I have ever thought IU would beat a big ten team by this much. Maybe in the 80s when Wisconsin was the doormat of the conference.

It was broken long before Tom Allen. Decades of futility tend to do that.

So IU is finally becoming a football school. Ive been wearing the pictured shirt around Lyon, France all day. Ive had two different people comment about how IU is looking really good this year. Ive had people stop me and talk basketball before, but today was the first time for football.

Probably true, but none of us are in the locker room. Changing decades of fan apathy is not something he can do in four games. Apathy may not even be the right word. We get pretty good attendance. The crowd thing is more like muscle memory; people have simply become used to leaving at half time. I believe it is up the athletic department to work on changing the habit. I was thinking about this last night and I dreamed that the Athletic Department started a giveaway to students, and would pay a semester’s tuition if you were in your seat the middle of the 4th quarter and your seat number was drawn. I can’t wait to be back in Southern Indiana so I can go to the games.

Well I liked Coach's comment when told about the scoring after 4 games. "Show me another Indiana team that had a four game schedule like this..." That was an amazing answer to me. In regard to the fans. I think you all are asking for way too much this early in the tenure. IU has had decades of bad football. You can't change things like crowd size on a dime. I mean just look at the BB team. We have been pretty darn mediocre too bad for most of the last 30 years, and AH still is pretty much a sell out every game. Tradition is a hard thing to change.

Well it looks like Coach lit a fire under the Defense during half time.

Well, I guess going to dinner was the spark needed.

Well all. I will have to see you next week. My wife flew in from Chicago today, and I promised to take her out to dinner tonight. I hope the defense decides to show up again.

Other than the first drive, the defense is looking rather pedestrian.

It started like a clinic, it ended pretty sloppy, but it is another 7 points.

How the hell do you give up that run. That was awful.

OMG a penalty that went in IU's favor. I didn't think that was possible.

Hope that is the biggest play they give up this game.

In the past I would have been cheering about a 10 nothing lead against any team, why do I feel unfulfilled after that Field Goal?
