Couple of things: 1) I believe Riley was an old ‘25, so he may be returning to his original class. Pretty sure he’s older than Bryson Tucker 2) As long as they’ve properly aligned his expectations, again using Tucker as an example, he’s better off developmentally in college than prep school. 3) He’s a stone scorer and those guys will always play. 4) Illinois has a war chest. They can outbid 95% of the country.

I’ll never get over how meaningless commitments are in CFB. Since it’s the culture and everyone gets it I suppose it doesn’t matter much, but a “committed” player taking actual officials to other schools will never not be funny. McNeeley de-committing was literally a national recruiting story. Lewis de-committing will be a complete shrug.

Western Reserve plays at Flyin’ to the Hoop in Dayton every year. I skipped it last year. May have to make the trip this year.

Can’’t drop his weight. And the game is way too fast for him. But, damn, is he tall. Saw him at Nationals and never seen anything like him. He doesn’t look real. He was close to 6’ tall while sitting in a chair.

Congrats to Jalen Haralson. That is 1 long freakin’ roster. Mandaquit’s a small kid. Smith and Cayden Boozer are both physical, athletic 6’4” kids. The rest are all 6’6” to 6’10” super switchable parts. They are gonna physically overwhelm some teams pretty badly.
