Yeah, he’s landlocked, no doubt. He’s also pretty clearly not the most flexible kid. But he’s strong enough and if his awareness is good enough, and 1 of those steals he read from 2 passes away so he understood their action, he’s got a decent chance to hold up. Heads up: this is really a great event. Went last year when it was at Brownsburg and with the exception of their pathetic excuse for concessions, there was literally 1 open stand, awesome. You’re seeing a ridiculous number of future Guys in a pretty intimate setting and last year it was maybe half full the 1st 2 days and probably 3/4 the last day. So there was plenty of room. Highly recommend.

Kel’el Ware with another strong game today with 25 and 8 with a couple of blocks in a win over Wemby and the Spurs. In his last 10 games he’s averaging 19 mins and getting them 11 and 7. So happy for that kid finding his niche. Was not a fan of bringing him here and he showed up and went to work and accepted coaching and just played. No BS. Proud of him. Sude note: seem to recall reading in 1 of the threads someone suggesting that the staff deserves no credit for Ware’s improvement. They apparently think the kid just flipped a switch. That that’s how that works. Not gonna waste time rebutting that because it’s stupid on its face. That kid could’ve easily been a career tease and they did a great job with him on multiple levels. Good for them.
