Interesting skill development piece on him: In HS and at UL Glenn was an undersized 4 and a non-perimeter shooter. Last year at FAU he shot 41% from 3 on 3.5 attempts a game. Good for that kid.

Also played a year at Huntington Prep. Not sure if he actually had an IU offer. He said he did at one point but neither Old Fart nor I could ever find any other indication that was true. Saw him at a showcase event when he was at Huntington Prep and he was an absolutely elite athlete with a pretty jumper whose game really wasn’t that impactful.

I’m sure he’ll do really well there but it’s gonna be interesting to see how his 1st couple of years go. Running the Moe system is great because it’s basically unscoutable, but your guys really have to be in synch or you can throw the ball all over the gym. Will be curious to watch how quickly he can find the right guys and get them coached up to play that way

Good question. Watched some of his EYBL games when IU was in on him and didn’t love him because he was pretty clearly a tweener in a sort of Mgbako way. But would never have guessed that he would just be a straight washout.

Sounds about right. Dix would have been a nice get. I’m not as high on Freeman as most but I’m sure he’d do well there.

I like Swain a lot, but he’s a bit of a weird player. Probably best as sort of a primary facilitator in the halfcourt. Like his vision and he’s a very good passer. Also can defend 1-4. But. man, that stroke is never gonna play. The way the ball comes off the outside of his hand with side spin, yeesh.

Assuming he’s Minny’s guy, I imagine Medved would have enough leverage to get that cheap-a$$ administration to get in the game financially or he can just hang at the very good job he has now. And I’m gonna keep an eye on Ben Johnson. I think that guy’s a pretty good coach who got a pretty bad deal there. Given his age he’s got a chance to rehab himself in some mid- major job somewhere and maybe get a swing at another power conference job down the road.
