Will probably watch more of him tonight since it looks like IU is his best offer so far. Side note: if you’re looking for games of his you need to look for Miles COMMUNITY College. If you just look for Miles College you get a different school.

Would interest me because he’s a year young for the class, he’s a rim protector, a rim runner and pick and roll finisher who doesn’t need the ball.

I find the idea of Indiana fans rooting for Kelvin Sampson nauseating. Yup, the idea that they built this roster without an actual point guard just kills me. They are clueless against pressure. Maybe someone will just make a play here, but they can’t get into any kind of offense at all.

I don’t really dislike Scheyer and he’s doing well, but the way he benefited from K basically shanking Tommy Amaker to get him the job really irritates me, so I can’t root for him. But since I’d root for Jeffrey Dahmer against Sampson I’m a Dukie tonight.

Having to watch meaningful games of Houston-PU and Houston-Duke in the same tournament is clear evidence that I’ve somehow pi$$ed off the universe in a giant way. No non-Florida alumnus in the country will be rooting harder for the Gators Monday night than this guy.

Assuming Florida hangs on they will have won this 2nd half straight up 5 on 8. Auburn has gotten every single close call.

This always felt like the likeliest outcome, didn’t it? If the home stuff really was a factor he’s now near there playing for a great program and a great coach in a major conference and in a system he’ll thrive in. Unless the money just wasn’t close I’m honestly surprised if it was that tough a choice.

It’s a class 4 school, so something like a couple of hundred kids per class. They probably have a really wide range of competition. There are a bunch of small rural schools down there, but there are several really good programs in and near Springfield.

Watched Scottie Adkinson a few weeks back against Chaminade, 1 of the local prep powers. Dropped a 40 bomb on them and made it look easy. Kid can get wherever he wants off his bounce. In the 2nd half he decided he was just gonna take it to the rim and that was it. He got buckets or fouled every trip. It was quite a show.
