Wayne you are a good guy! Preach it brother. I’m right there with you on what we did with the money. DeVries and Wiketdon A plus. The rest of the team is kind of underwhelming for the NIL budget we carry.

I’ve watched all the highlight videos and they all look good so it’s hard to decipher. I don’t know what Dorn would be rated, but he was killing it.

Let’s just admit we lost Conwell to Louisville. They had a better season and have the pieces to win right now. I would take a look at Miles Colvin not as a replace for Conwell , but a solid get on the roster.

You can thank coach Woodson for that. He played the victim since last year when we were ready for a change and it didn’t happen. He’s a players coach, not a motivator. He has them all thinking the fans were against all of them.

Conwell was my guy last year too. Rough start !

So what happens if the really good portal transfers don’t want to come here due to us not having any roster stability? Does all that NIL money go to a bunch of mid major type players or do we just not use it ?

Just kind of talking out loud. If you were to ask me who the better coach Is between McCollum and DeVries, I’d probably say short term DeVries for his recruiting and power 5 experience. Long term I think McCollum . I believe he will be a top 10 coach in college basketball someday. I was never crazy of his slow style offense, but after watching them last night, I wonder if that’s something he will alter as he gets better talent. DeVries had a good record, but no runs in the tournament like my man crush Dusty May. I’m optimistic but wonder how these three guys look 5 years down the road.

So has it been confirmed, did Ben turn us down ?

For me this Stevens story is crazy. I definitely think it was misinformation and a little telephone game. If Dolson ever said we got our guy. Well, that could be DeVries . I would love to know if Devries or McConnell was our first choice. I’m not mad at any of our insiders. If Stevens really was coming, we will eventually find out the truth. Thanks Chris for all the time you spend on here. If anyone remembers me in the past two coaching hires. I didn’t handle it well. I do give me a little credit though, I said from the beginning that Archie and Woody were terrible hires. I started disappointed this time, but mostly because I didn’t know who this coach was. I think he’s going to be a good one.

Woody never talked basketball. He sounded like a goober in comparison. Woody acted like he was bigger than Indiana. He obviously wasn’t!

He definitely said the right things. His overall system seems to fit us better than Others. I’m on board!
