IUFB vs Charlotte - Saturday, 09.21.24 @ Noon on BTN

I've seen so much improvement from the offense from the first game until now. What is the longest number of games without a turnover? -

He's the one guy we can't afford to lose to injury. -

Coach not happy. The offense looks very good. The defense so far, not so much. -

Purdue people seem pretty confident he will either pick MSU or Purdue. They don't give IU much of a chance. They cite some family connections to Purdue and that his inner circle has some strong Purdue support. Do they know something or are they just delusional? -
Exactly right. We've had good starts before only to end up the same old IU football. However, other than coaching at IU, there is no similarity between Coach Lynch and Coach Cignetti.

PTSD, no doubt. But I stand by my bi-polar, mood swings diagnosis.

We are, and rightfully so, the most bi-polar football fanbase ever. We worry about being able to get a good coach, finally hire one, and then worry about losing him three games into the season.

That was one of the most egregious calls I have ever seen. It was literally a good, clean qb sack. Some of the major calls, especially targeting, were hard to understand. -

This team is clearly better than anything we have had in recent memory. Not just better, better across the board. How that translates the rest of the way remains to be seen. But, I'm certain this team will not lose games in the typical manner we have lost in the past. The sideline shots of CCC are hilarious. I can't tell if we are winning or losing and I like it.

(2025) QB - Julian Lewis to Colorado (for now)

CCC would lose all of his credibility if he promised a starting position to anyone. He has been all about competition for positions. -
I routinely have a PSA under .5 on my yearly physical and I still get the finger.

UINDY end WIU are two small schools that I know something about. I went on a recruiting visit to UINDY with one of my grandsons. He was being recruited for wrestling. I had a chance to spend some time talking to the coaches and they all admitted that they can't compete against the facilities of bigger schools. Even suburban high schools in the area had significantly better athletic facilities. My brother-in-law serves as an advisor to the board of trustees and has said that UINDY faces serious financial problems. As a private school, the tuition costs are quite high causing difficulty competing for students. Knowing what I know about them I have a hard time seeing them and similar schools surviving in the future.

They wanted to do that to my grandson. He had a knee injury that they wanted him to play through so he decided to do something else. I think he could have been pretty good for them, he made the north/south all-star team, but in the end it was an unpleasant experience. -

This very true. My grandson was on the team on scholarship for one year. They suspended classes in the spring semester because they couldn't afford to pay the professors. He left school after that and joined the Navy. -

We can discredit the competition all we want, but this is a much better team than we had last year. They showed discipline and poise. No stupid drive killing penalties or acting like a fool. I'm not sure last year's team could have scored 77 points against a high school team. -

Given the number of new players I'm not too unhappy with the way we played. CCC is obviously less than pleased with the product on the field. I see a lot of room to improve, but I feel much better than I did last year. -
I loved the Tao and I have the cookbook. I am a vegetarian so that place was perfect for me in the spring of 1976. I was in grad school and had my three year old daughter with me. We spent a lot of lunches there. She loved the " lellow cheese samiches". Special memories.
