From reading a thread on the Alabama site, they'd love to have Crean.  Several telling statements in one post on why Alabama fans would be happy with Crean -  "Because he doesn't have to play Wisconsin, Michigan State, Ohio State, Maryland, Iowa and Purdue every night? Let's face it - the SEC isn't exactly a murderer's row of blue-blood teams with elite coaches. He also wouldn't be living under the microscope of a fan-base who think they're a 10 when they're really a solid 7. We don't really need him to have "more" success here than at Indiana. I'd settle for "as much."   Some others...   "We've qualified for one NCAA tournament in the last 9 years.I'd give the next coach one of my kids if he got us to a Sweet 16." "a sweet 16 every four years or so with making the tournament every year seems reasonable"

  Regarding calling everyone "Crean haters"......just because some feel a change is needed at head coach doesn't mean the man is hated.  I get tired of seeing that.

Just heard they didn't cut down the nets from the SEC tournament. Said they have bigger nets to cut down. I hate UK but that's pretty telling to me. They get it.

I wasn't really saying they're a defensive juggernaut, but from my perspective, they were keeping up the pressure and had finally stopped getting beat so badly on the post.

I've been wanting Evansville to get their 20th win but they can't seem to get past Illinois St these past two weeks. Good turnaround season for Marty Simmons and the Aces though.
