Losing to USC by a fairly large amount would be preferable to how our last 3 BTT losses went. Not that I'm hoping for that, of course, but our exits from this event the past 3 years were painful. -

Have I mentioned replay review is ruining the game? 4:45 left between Minnesota/Wisconsin and the game has been stopped to review a shot that clearly beat the shot clock. Anything to get some more commercials in, I guess.

Oregon. More partial crowd this time and hopefully different officials that would realize it's a basketball game and not a wrestling match.

Oregon has gotten away with one foul after another, and their crowd has gotten rowdier with each one. They finally get called for one and the place suddenly turns into Mackey Arena. -

He practically dares refs to call fouls on him and then can't believe it when they do. He fouled out on a moving screen when we played them and both he and Painter were incredulous. On replay, if his legs had been any farther apart he could have been performing squats.

Probably the biggest reason why he should have been fired and told to clean out his office. Letting him have the microphone again is one of the dumbest things we could have possibly done. But we're IU and we like to do dumb things I guess. -

0-8 against IU and just lost to us at home by 20 to end their season because they didn't make the Big Ten tournament in her fourth year...yeah, definitely some reasons to pull the trigger. -
Every now and then, I take a glance at how Archie's best season at Rhode Island is going. Yesterday they scored 56 points in the first half against UMass, an out of body experience for an Archie Miller team, and still managed to lose 91-88. They are now guaranteed to finish below .500 in the A-10.
