He's a great up and comer. He's going to climb the coaching ladder. He might turn out to be a really good one at some point. But Indiana will be just fine.

Appreciated. My track record has been really solid and I want it to work more than anyone. I don't have all the answers either, clearly. I'm positive when its called for. We haven't had a ton of that in the program for a long time. I like to "scout" players and have my own takes. I think our offense is gonna be fun this year but we need to address defense and athleticism primarily. It's all got to work together. I like Reed Bailey and Tucker Devries. Concerned about both of them on defense. I've stated my peace on Enright for a while. Love the kid and the energy, just think he's gonna be outgunned. I don't care for Comer either too much. Didn't love Pack. I've been underwhelmed at the PG targets especially. I really like Wilkerson. Like Brozvic. When the Roster is final we can evaluate it all over again. I was positive about Bailey, DeVries, Wilkerson, so there's a stigma attached.

A lot of examples of teams doing so much more with the PG spot. Frustrating. I guess DeVries thinks he can win this way. Hope Tucker can hit a bunch of 35 footers when all else fails. Wilkerson would be a huge get for scoring punch. We’ll see if that happens now. What are we gonna run with end of shot clock scenarios. Lol. Enright gonna be our guy? Crazy. Pretty bummed to hear this. Just completely unimpressed with what we are doing with the PG position. Jones is a good comp I suppose. He was a defensive menace and became a clutch 3 point shooter for them at 35% on nearly 5 attempts. Feels like Comer is about to happen then. I guess I’ll mentally prepare for this one. So Enright is the starter now? Comer got those stats as a lead player on an 11 win team shooting 38% from the field and 30% from 3. If his quickness was so great he’d get easy buckets at the rim or have crazy assist numbers from dump offs after beating his man. None of these things happened. He was an inefficient high volume guy and that’s been his career.

That quickness wasn’t enough for him to dominate at Evansville or Eastern Kentucky. He’s little. If his quickness can’t dominate at a lower level it isn’t going to dominate in the B1G. Plus he’s another guard that’s not a great shooter. Everyone has their own opinions and that’s fine. Expecting him be a + guard in the B1G when he hasn’t been that anywhere else Is fools gold. And Tonje… was he a superstar at Colorado state? No. But he was solid and efficient with great shooting splits against a higher level of competition. He jumped up as he grew in confidence and became the alpha mostly due to usage rate, but the numbers were projectable. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners

Are you comparing a high school recruit vs a guy with 3 years of college evidence of performance? He was projectable the minute he played significant minutes at FAU. Dusty saw the same thing from him in high school. Comer has 3 years of inefficient basketball play at a low level of college hoops. At some point the evidence reveals itself. Walter Clayton had a great year at Iona with Pitino? Alijah Martin was a stud at FAU for 3 years, he was a no brainer. Haugh was a great pull. I want tough players too. I’m glad DeVries is going to try to cultivate that. Being tough will win you games. I can wrap my head around Enright, kind of. Although if we play 3 games and he looks out of place against bigger stronger, more athletic guards I won’t be shocked in the least. I’m not sure what Comer does well. Stepping WAY up in competition and expecting better results just doesn’t add up. For as much blind faith as we are giving DeVries, he hasn’t done anything yet. Tonje was so good this year. Dang. Watched him the first few weeks of the season and I was like who the hell is this? Kid never missed free throws. Seemed to just get more clutch as time went along. It’s definitely becoming a joke on Twitter. Trilly Donovan gets in on it. Most of our Burners get in on it. I don’t care one way or another but I’d rather Indiana basketball not become a meme. I also don’t think an all white team will win at the level our fanbase wants. DeVries is getting a bunch of crap from WV fans about it. It’s not ideal. Sometimes you like fits and I can’t wrap my head around it. Local kid. That’s good, i guess. He’s an undersized guard. Albeit, athletic. But just terrible shooting splits for 3 seasons against low level competition. Decent overall stats this season at Evansville until you look at the advanced stats. I don’t see it translating at all. So if this is our move that would mean Enright is our starter and Comer is our backup PG. That’s about as weak at the PG position as you’ll find in the big ten. Yeah. It’s a change though. Seemed like a commitment was verbalized. I got a few messages thinking it would be announced the next day. Then nothing yet. If he goes on other visits , it’s definitely a change from the original notion. Doesn’t mean we don’t get him. I still mostly think we do, but it could turn into a higher bidding situation, which DeVries seems to be opposed to. Time will tell very soon it seems. Watched video on Ante. Can see why 160 schools are interested in him. Skilled offensively. Wilkerson news is concerning. He got me over the Conwell doom. Hopefully we can still pull him. I think we will. Schools are swinging big. We need a few more really big splashes to get people talking.

At this rate unless you are going to actually make the main team's roster you probably stay in college and get 1.5-4 million to play. These numbers are astronomical.
