People think Enright is a good defender, I disagree at the level of the B1G. He hustles. He flops. He gives energy but idk. Just not the lock down guy you want at point. I’m giving very specific reasons why I don’t think it’s a good addition. I’ve listed 5 or 6 game scouted reasons I don’t like it. I don’t like to *****. I want to feel like the program I love just made a strong move and celebrate the hell out of it. Our program has given us ample reasons to complain over the years. And I’ve complained about a lot of it, for years. I’ve wanted a great guard for 20 years. Doesn’t need to be a 20 point per game guy. I look at both sides of the ball. In a point guard it’s Defense, Ball handling, Free Throws. Those are the 3 keys. People have talked about his defense but I don’t think those people have watched his games. Yep. Lots of coaches make comfort moves. Blinded by connections and previous relationships. Archie and Woodson made bad moves constantly and I’ve called out many of them before the coach realized it was a problem. I’m confident in my analysis of talent. A scrawny 6’0” guard that can’t hit free threes, therefore his three point shooting will ALWAYS be streaky. He can’t drive in the B1G. He’ll struggle to defend. Lol. You aren’t the emotion police. Enright is a hard working kid that will be outclassed in size and skill in about every single P5 matchup and some other matchups too. I call a spade a spade. Watched lots of video. Games. Looked at stats. I hope we didn’t break the bank on this one. My opinion doesn’t need to be to board’s opinion and this is as underwhelming of an addition as I can imagine, starter or not. I’ll root like hell for the kid once he dons the candy stripes. It’s been a pretty good carousel this year. Living up to the hype. When we hired Archie 2017. OSU takes Holtman. Illinois takes Underwood. I’ll grade Archie at a D to D- Holtman gets a B- to C+ Underwood gets an A-. This cycle : DeVries Medved Buzz McCollum Let’s hope we figured something out. I’m a bit worried though. It was the rumored move I heard as soon as the Willard might leave news came out. Definitely a strong move all things considered.

I will say, it doesn't seem to fit the DeVries agenda unless Booker can convince people the narrative about him is false.

Money must be too tantalizing. I get it but dang. Donaldson had a great team season and a pretty strong individual season and started everygame. Holloman had a great season, solid individual season and was set up for more PT. Neither of these make sense in the traditional sense.
