Well he was last minute he was switched to Team 2, but still beat his highest score and qualified for the Eastern Nationals. Overall his elementary team won the state championship in both 3D and bullseye and also had the top individual elementary female in both events as well. Overall great day other than the basketball game!

That is true as well, but it just drives me even more nuts that Race is already on the block before TJD can even get to the basket. Why make it harder for your All American than you have too? Really intrigued to see the player Banks develops into!

One thing that has absolutely bothered me for much of the season and in the game yesterday, nearly every time TJD has the ball outside of the post and is sizing up to drive on his defender, Race drops to the opposite block dragging an additional defender to the post before TJD can get his position. I know it is really late to address this but it needs to be addressed in practice this week. I understand the mindset of Race is getting in position for the drop off or the rebound, but if he would just wait a split second to drop, it would open the lane more for TJD. It would also open a little more space for Race to receive the drop off or gain some room for a put back slam. When Race is not in the game, this doesn't happen as often with MR or JG and I wish it didn't happen so often with Race. Timing could be the difference from being bounced in the first round or TJD absolutely destroying a team in the post. He needs room to operate and clogging the lane with extra defenders is generally no bueno! I know I am not a coach, but just one of the things that drives me nuts!
