Agree with both of you. Hanner could come out of this as a completely different player and even better person. The player part of it is the least important, but I think he will come back looking great. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

UNC will probably lose to Va Tech when they play them because that's how their season is going. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

North Carolina storms the court!!!
Hovadipo replied to Hoosierfan1990's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Loved it. UNC having a weird season. #5 Duke. I think whenever the home team wins in that series, the students should rush regardless because it's awesome. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
Lol, you never know man. I am sure there are people out there thinking they do run the table. Congrats on them for their great year. They would beat us. I am not saying they are middle of the pack in the B1G, but they will struggle in the tournament.
In all reality, they've just been squeaking by in the MVC. I don't see them doing much. Especially if they run into someone that has even a decent post player. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
So Orlando Johnson has been cut, to make room for Turner and Allen. Not too surprised, guy was pretty disappointing to start the year, and wasn't going to crack the rotation. Apparently Danny is expected to be bought out of his contract. He isn't able to sign here. I've heard a number of places as possible landing spots
I know the Thunder want a shooter. But I think they're more interested in a 2. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

From what I've heard, Turner is a complete head case. I honestly don't think he will sit well with this team because he won't be the guy, like Dalton said. I'm sure if he caused any trouble West or Larry will set him straight, but still. Hope he proves me wrong. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
I have a friend that keeps tweeting that the pacers just locked it up. To be honest I don't think this trade helps you guys. I think it was a money conscious move. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
Yeah I feel like we just traded Danny for a little bit shorter, more athletic version of himself. Money makes sense though. Don't know much about Lavoy Allen. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

If any of you have read Mark Titus' book, you will join in on my dislike for Evan Turner. Not sure how I feel yet. Edit: As I type this, Titus is trashing Evan Turner on twitter. And it is hilarious.
They are good Hova. I just think they aren't top 5-10 good. I think like any team in the 10-20 range, they could make a run, but their competition will cost them come tournament time. This tournament will be too good for them. Too athletic. I just don't have that much faith in their ability to run the table. The best odds for the best team to win it all is typically 20% on a normal year. I would put theirs at less than 5%.
Haha I was just messing with you man. I was giving you the response that mentioned in your post. I agree with your tournament outlook for them. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
Just a dumb question, as I haven't been able to follow them as closely being where I'm at. Does their falling off have anything to do with Granger being back?
I think Granger has been pretty helpful off the bench actually. He's been scoring at a decent rate. And don't get confused, they aren't "falling off" or anything like that. They're just proving that they aren't a machine like they were at the start of the season. No one should be worried at this point. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
Not as long and strong; potentially a much better shooter/scorer. If all goes really well? Shabazz Napier
Oh wow. So he's more of a 1 than a 2? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Just read that the 76ers would take a 2nd rounder and another player for Evan Turner. Don't know if we have someone they want, but a 3 team deal may be possible. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
I almost don't want to watch these guys on the second night of back to backs. I just don't know how they can be so awful in these scenarios. And I don't want to sound like Charlie, but does anyone else feel like this team has regressed over the course of the season? They came out like gang-busters and made it clear they wanted homecourt, but Miami keeps winning tough road games without Wade while the Pacers are laying eggs like tonight. I'm not even thinking about homecourt in the Finals, because no one is beating OKC in a best of seven anyway.
To your main point: I think they just set a pace that was too hard to keep at the start of the season and got everyone's expectations too high. I'm not overly worried, yet. Plus, Minnesota isn't horrible. To your OKC point: I think they will regress when Westbrook gets back. He is a great player, but I think he requires too many shots for them to be real contenders. He doesn't play well with KD since he has reached more of a superstar status. KD will quickly fall out of the MVP discussion when Westbrook gets back, I think. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
I know Wichita St. is undefeated, but I am glad no teams with a legit chance of winning a championship are undefeated. Before I get the typical answer how good they are, they haven't played a decent team in a while. There is a reason mid-majors haven't won a title to this point. Butler is as close as we may see for a while. Especially a year like this. Wichita St. might have 5 tough games, even if they get a 1 seed. That doesn't happen every year. This year is wide open. I actually feel bad for them to pick this year to be good.
Wichita is so good though.... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
