He can't even dribble. Looks like the Monstars stole all his talent. -
Hoosier Transfers and Recruiting Targets

Pinson is not very good. -
Sorry if this comes off as rude, but the Duncan family dynamic seems very...odd.

But ATHLETIC!

(2017) PG Paul Scruggs to Xavier
Hovadipo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I was a completely neutral party, but thought it was fairly evenly called with most of the calls pretty touchy. Didn't expect much from BHSS, but they impressed me with their fundementals. #15 Jager can play! -
(2017) PG Paul Scruggs to Xavier

Scruggs is the real deal. Especially as a Sophomore. Brunk was soft. Shorter, smaller South kids were bullying him down low. Didn't do much of anything to impress me. -
(2017) PG Paul Scruggs to Xavier

Scruggs came back and proceeded to dominate the game in the 2nd. 12ish points 5ish boards after the injury. -

Where at? I can't find him. -
Ugh this is so good. Respect. http://snpy.tv/1whci8f

Hahaha love Kobe. He gives less than zero f***s.

I remember that. Yogi dominated that game on offense from everywhere until it was out of hand.

See: Profile picture/username. That should just about cover it. No one comes close.

Devin Davis redshirting a season?

Those iPads that came with the new Bill of Rights don't do a whole lot of good for their learning environment. -
Devin Davis redshirting a season?

He could probably pass the classes I'm with him in by never attending class. -
Oh. Well that's settled.

What if there's an agreement in place for Zeisloft to have 1 scholarship year and 1 year where he pays his way? Assuming Stan leaves, that would be promblem solved unless we add another player to 2015.
-
I pretty much agree with all of your points here. Especially the second to last paragraph about us being a year older. I don't see anyone of worth leaving and that should be pretty scary next season. Maybe even late this season if we break the Crean mold and peak later rather than sooner. I was just throwing out a list of scenarios that keep us closer in the game. And "dead" week is VERY much alive right now. By alive I mean more stressful than finals week. I'll sleep over break.

How would we have faired if Devin was playing? I'd like to think we would have another guy that at least has a shot at banging inside with a Harrell. Sure, that could come back on Crean too I guess, but it's just another factor into what could've been in that game. We keep up the shooting, we're right there at the end. We rebound 5 more of their misses, we're right there. If someone doesn't make Luke leave, we have a servicable big man over 6'8. My point is, we can make literally anything come back on Crean, but the fact is that it was a manageable 5 point game at halftime before we stopped hitting shots even with the awful rebounding effort. This discussion could go on forever because anyone can rebuttle with "Crean could've made this decision or that decision". My final thought. EVERYONE could've done things better last night. From Crean all the way down to April. I know that since Crean is in charge, it will always come back to him and that's fair considering his title, but saying it is solely on him (you didn't) seems irrational.
-
I don't think Crean coached a flawless game by any means. And that substitution was mind-bogglingly awful, but that alone didn't cost us the game. We never rebounded, we turned the ball over, and shots stopped falling. That's as much of the reason we lost as any decisions Crean made.

Haha I'm just saying they're friends. They ran around together at the beginning of the semester for sure.

Him and Rob are buddies. Just sayin...

He knows. It's just finding a way to fix it. Rebounding out of a zone is tough, but there will be games where either a team is so bad at shooting, is so much bigger than us, or both that it will be absolutely necessary and some offensive boards will happen. It's just finding a way to limit them as much as possible.

He has company (Tyus Jones, Delon Wright, Marcus Paige, NOT point guard twin Harrison), but I'd happily take him above all of the PG's I've seen as well. Is it possible that Yogi leaves as one of the most under appreciated Hoosiers in recent memory? We haven't had as much success as we all wish, but I think he deserves way more recognition than he gets.
