Gus Fring talk on the halftime show rocks though. I'd kill for a bucket of Los Pollos Hermanos rn.
-
In all seriousness, my hope is that word-filter-shaming people into spelling our next coach's name right is the way.
-
I just heard Rodney Terry speak for the first time. It would be way cooler if he sounded like Gus Fring instead of...how he actually sounds.

Imagine taking a live over and watching these teams chuck the ball at the bottom of the rim as hard as they can for the last 15 minutes.
-
Omg me Scott and Brad in the same place at the same time. I thought I smelled something funky, but apparently it was just Masshole seepage.

If you want to coach in the shadow of wrestling, be my friggin' guest pal.
-
I totally understand what he's saying and, if that's actually his mindset, want nothing to do with him at IU. Sounds perfect for Iowa.
-
Nick heading home-ish. Signed a 2-year deal with the Dolphins today.

This is trending toward the first and last Big 12 game I watch. Horrible.
-
So, reading between the lines here, he actually does suck that bad?
-
In fairness to JS, and I've also said this before, he's just kind of a quirky guy with a pretty different personality (for a CBB coach, anyway) and didn't do it in a "f*** you" type of way. He doesn't take himself seriously at all and is always clowning on himself, players, etc. I would assume if McCollum did the same thing in a presser it would come off in a VERY different way. Now, does that type of guy work at IU? I have no idea and that was always my one question if JS ever became a serious candidate. Like McCollum, I've never once worried about the ball. It's everything else.

I'm pretty sure I've said it on here before, but Schertz did that at ISU.
-
@Uspshoosier I have a theory that Lunardi has an actual bracketology setup that he does for his own, but the one that we all see and is submitted to the matrix is for clicks and engagement for ESPN. You can't do this for as long as he has and be THAT bad at it right?
-
Ok now do one that doesn't suck butt at it.
-
I don't have sour grapes like a lot of ISU people do about it, but his decision there did confuse me a little. Everything I heard was that their small pool of boosters had raised a TON of money to give him and the roster for this season which could've led him to this or a similarly big job in this cycle. On the other hand, both the AD and President position were in flux at that point last year so I can see how that may have run him off, but so far it seems they nailed both of those hires. I'd still hire him today and feel set for the foreseeable future.
-
I see a "Texas A&M fans bully AD out of hiring Mark Stoops" situation happening if they try hiring Brownell.
-
It's always been about efficiency. It's nice to see it spelled out so simply though. I think pace/tempo are just easier to wrap your head around than everything that goes into efficiency. A fast team that sucks is a way more terrible watch than an elite slow team. I loved UVA's top 5 offensive years.

Drake is dead last (364) in the nation in tempo. We're 140th.
-
Them thar’s the yips, son.
-
That was the biggest takeaway for me too. I wanted to believe the smoke from earlier this week. (And before anyone says it again, I believe Goodman. Sue me for believing the national guy even if I don’t like him)
-
Time to drag them right across Louisville’s forehead and bring Pat Kelsey to his favorite childhood program.
-
So he’s just throwing that out there based on agent chatter or wherever it’s coming from and hoping not to be wrong? Sounds like hoping more than thinking.
-
This sure as s**t doesn’t feel like the hay is in the barn does it
-
Don’t do that to me. I don’t think it’s realistic, but don’t do that to me.
