Most likely scenario...an agreed upon retirement date was set. Any normal person would clean their stuff out the day the season ended. Woody being Woody means his stuff stays until the 11th hour and IU being No Hurt Feelings University means they don't ruffle feathers. I don't know the details, but I do know how IU operates and the goofiest possible scenario is usually the most likely.

My understanding is that they aren't. I would love to hear that that is the reason, but it seems to be Woody being Woody.

Exactly how it sounds. Remember the joke about Woody handing off the keys yesterday? Well while that wasn't quite literal, Woody's office didn't come available until yesterday and DDV was working out of the players lounge. Friggin' clown show.

My respect for him maxed out last year when Drake played at ISU. Tucker's shoulder was in shambles, he had a bad foot or ankle injury, and the road environment that night was serious. He went for 26 and 10 and was the only reason they didn't get run off the floor even with everything working against him. Wasn't super efficient, in fairness, but I was right behind their bench and he was in a ton of pain all night. The guy is a monster.

Seeing a handful of tweets about DDV making his rounds at the major Bloomington establishments yesterday. Love it. Being a genuine man of the people will serve him well. It earned Crean a LOT of leash.

If they "keep" Maclean and speed up his release, I'll be convinced that they're trying to clone Tucker. He won't be a plug and play, but the stroke is pretty.
