A pair of Michigan guys too: -Andrew Gentry - super versatile OL…has played 4 positions and took a mission trip after HS, so is an older guy. Class of 2020, but his clock started in 2022. 6’7 320+, has played a lot of snaps for them, and started off and on. -Tyler Morris - WR from Chicago. Played a decent amount the last 2 years, scored a TD against Bama in the semifinal last year. Hard to judge on production being blocked by a bunch of dudes last year and horrific QB play this year.

On the lookout for an offer/visit for D2 All-American OL Lawrence Hattar from Ferris State. 3-time national champion. I believe he played tackle at Ferris.

Totally agree. I think at this point they can submit all their info and/or film to the NFL and get general feedback on where they may land, but being able to go through the process would be huge. Probably just way more difficult with the amount of prospects there are in football vs basketball.

Need to come up with quite a bit of cheddar if it’s just about that. Say he goes at the end of the 3rd…Luke McCaffery is making about 1.6 million this season in Washington between base and signing bonus as the last pick in the 3rd round. 890k guaranteed. Around 1.4 for the guy picked last in the 4th. And it seems that Mikail is a late 2nd/3rd projection before he starts working out for teams.

It certainly looks like you’ll get your wish early on. This looks like two very different levels of team here so far.

Personally I think we get one of them, but I have a feeling this was coming regardless. I liked him quite a bit, never seemed like the staff agreed. Hope he’s able to go somewhere and have success and appreciate him sticking around for the CFP if it was in fact already determined.

I didn’t leave the game hating Notre Dame fans. Actually, the crew I sat around were a great time and we casually talked ball the entire game. I mostly left confused at the whole thing. The atmosphere was honestly just weird. Memorial is orders of magnitude louder and more rowdy than ND Stadium. It felt a bit like going to mass? If the PA wasn’t playing music, the wife and I could have regular, room volume conversation pretty much the entire game. For being a bunch of IU basketball fans, I figured they’d know how to create a raucous environment for a big game, but those people were lame as hell. Stadium was very nice/clean/cool, not a bad seat in the house. You just very easily could’ve taken a nap in it.

Unforgettable season. Will be hard to fill the next 9 months with as much joy as this season has given me and so many others.

It’s kind of weird because most times you can give a guy the job and he can recruit and whatnot off the books until he goes through the HR process, but as an NFL coach I don’t know if he can get into that. Especially with guys in college. Hopefully he can at least Zoom in with Pribula and whoever else visits this week.

Hemby is your protoypical Maryland guy. Freaky athlete. He doesn't look fast in the open field, but then you notice (especially in his 75 yarder against us) that he's actually dusting everyone. I would bet dollars to donuts he's open-field faster than anyone in our room this year. Built like a brick s**t house. Solid and, most importantly, willing in pass protection. Not terribly elusive, but I don't think we really ask our guys to be. I'll be really friggin' fired up for he and Beebe to be next season's 6 and 17, if that wasn't apparent.

10 carries for about 52 yards if not for an excellent block on Asbury Ponds by the back judge. People don't forget.
