Two questions that remain in my mind, (1) out of morbid curiosity I wonder which players who entered the portal and were greeted with a 'thanks but no thanks' and (2) curious who the 'silent seven' IU verbal commits from current bowl bound teams are, CCC was visibly excited when he got to the topic. I doubt we will ever hear of the former, but the latter is intriguing for the next week or so.

For whatever it is worth, ON3 and Dex's social media pages show a fair amount of interest in Georgia Southern. Who knows where he will end up, but it seems like the right level for him to see the field.

By my very unscientific math there are 70 scholarships accounted for with a large bolus in the hands of Grad/Sr+/Seniors at 22 scholarships. I am curious if CCC will lean into a few more underclass portal options to replenish the depth of the program with the last 15 grants?

A few names I am watching...Dunnam, Carpenter, Camper, and Anthony Jones due to depth & returning productivity at various positions across the lines, secondary, and WR.

Ooooh good catch on Savage - I spaced him the deluge of decommits. I was tracking Henderson had exhausted his eligibility - 3 years at UNC and 2 years at IU, looks like he only played in 2 games in 2019 and 2 games in 2021 so curious if he will petition for a 6th year.

I wouldn't be surprised to see two more RB's added b/w Portal, HS, etc. Ellison is a fine piece, but if you are CCC you need more to your RB room than Holloman and incoming FR Khobie Martin.

Totally, and I think it may be a bit of a NIL resource allocation and efficiency for the staff - are you better off with Sorsby, McCulley, and Lucas or 7-8 guys that are pretty good for that price? CCC's NIL is finite and he has 85 scholarship athletes to be mindful of.
