Ok this is getting out of hand...

What I'm hearing is that we need to give Tommy Crean another shot, no?
-
Not sure this is an upgrade from Newman, but ok.

His old coach at Utah Valley, Mark Madsen, replaced Fox a few weeks ago, good move for Aimaq to rebuild his brand.

More importantly, where did the staff take the visitors for breakfast?

You got it, and from the tea leaves it sounds like Shedrick is the guy. Love, Battle, Shedrick, Sparks, and TBD is the direction the portal may be blowing for CMW.

Indiana Players Now In The Portal
MemphisHoosier replied to Chris007's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
In today's portal era, if I were coaching I would be less inclined to use the redshirt. Ties up your scholy longer for players that may or may not stick around for 4-5 years. -

Rhodes isn't inheriting much at PSU. As of now, Penn St has three scholarship players for next year... -

Less relevant, but still a cool to see move - Kevin Kuwik current assistant at Butler has accepted the head coaching gig at Army. Kevin served 10 years in the Army with tours overseas in support of OIF. -
Love that the 'Roys sign made an appearance in his commitment graphic-

Assuming JHS is gone and XJ gets a waiver, that leaves what, 5 schollies open for next year (that's including the signed '23 class)? -
For those who follow Sam Story on Twitter, he has been tip-toeing around this with his typical tea leaf communication for a bit as well...

Nothing ; )

This. Also Sparks has a good motor if you are an intangibles guy, and I think the staff could pull more out of him, see TJD's development.

This is when the staff pulls out the tape of Oscar's development vs. Trayce's over the last two years. -

If that is the case, I wonder if he considers Northern Kentucky (NKU) - basically in Cincinnati with lower level competition and an opportunity to win. -
Eh, I do think there is a bit of team hygiene with ensuring that everyone gets a bite of the NIL apple. If only the rotation players were to get paid I can only imagine what that would do to the team chemistry. I think the bigger question is, how are the collectives tiering NIL investment across the the 13 scholarships?

Sixth game of his freshmen year, 2020, 11min, 4 points, 2 assists & 2 TO's w/2 fouls leading to offensive rating of 69 (according to KenPom). Soooo maybe not his finest moment.

I wonder how our dear friend Geo Baker feels about that? -
Sooo anyone seeing the staff connected to any other players beyond Ledlum?

Same. I wouldn't be surprised to see a team or two get kicked to the 7/10 line to clear a path. -
IUBB 2023 B1G Tournament March 8-12, 2023

Weak offensive foul on OSU there, not surprised w/Newman's 'fake hustle'...
