    (2025)- Trent Sisley to INDIANA

A bit of additional intrigue on this recruitment, I didn't realize Trent's father, Matt, played AAU ball in Evansville with our very own Calbert Cheaney. I am more convinced than ever that CMW is playing three dimensional chess.

Game Thread: IUFB vs Akron 9/23/23 7:30pm BTN

Not sure what I just watched for the past 4 hours, but I need a shower.

A thoroughly mediocre La Tech team is holding their own against Nebraska - not looking great in Lincoln this fall. I'll be surprised if they win three games in conference.

2024 PF Asa Newell to Georgia

Reporting on Twitter/X is that Georgia is the team to watch here.

    They Fired Tom Allen!

I highly doubt Womack comes back to Bloomington to replace his friend and mentor while the seat is still warm.

Agree, just a really tough watch. NBL is high-level basketball, and he clearly isn't ready. The first red flag for me with Flowers was the multitude of HS's attended - four in four years, never a good sign.

    They Fired Tom Allen!

This. Great recruiting base in the west and Seattle has a really nice quality of life for a major city.
  8. Who is the main competition in his recruitment, only seeing Iowa & Notre Dame beyond local mid-majors?
  9. Just getting back from youth soccer (yes, the Blue Yetis won - good stuff) - what changed b/w the first and second halves? Did we bring Hiller back and can him at half time?

    IUFB Dropping Louisville in 2024

Read my mind LCS, I wouldn't mind having Charleston Southern (?) come to Bloomington in mid/late November for a 'get right game' prior to wrapping the season with a conference foe or two.

    IUFB Dropping Louisville in 2024

That would leave FIU and Charlotte, both at home, as CTA's only OOC matchups...agree that an FCS opponent makes sense. I do wonder, with the scheduled being reworked, if a B1G game takes place on 9/7 and the FCS match-up is later in the season?

    IU Basketball News and Notes

Love that Big Shot Rob and the staff have maintained a positive, supportive relationship - signals a healthy culture inside Cook Hall.
  13. Without a doubt, purely looking for an area to be positive on coming out of 'this'
  14. Really enjoying the showing from James Evans - absolutely needed this year...

    2023 SF/PF Mackenzie Mgbako to INDI-F’N-ANA

I heard 6'8" as well, but more importantly - WOW what an impressive young man. Mature, grounded, and extremely likable, great job by CMW & Staff!

I found a nice chronological synopsis from NU SBNation site, https://www.insidenu.com/2023/7/9/23788442/a-comprehensive-look-at-northwestern-footballs-hazing-allegations, and it looks like the investigation took a sharp turn on 7/8 when the NU student newspaper connected two former players to Fitz having visibility to the conduct. A lot of really unfortunate events transpired here - but I continue to be inspired by the caliber of our student journalists across the B1G.

Aww yes, let's make light of a man's struggles with addiction that have more than likely ended his career...stay classy.

Such a sad way to close out the twilight of his HOF career, really hope he get the support he needs to enjoy retirement.

Sooo comparable to his NIL in Bloomington...I kid, I kid.

    2024 IUFB Class Ranking

I try not to get too caught up in the rankings of individual recruits, IMO there is more value in looking at which schools are actively engaged (OV's, Offers, Camps, etc.) on said recruit. This recruiting cycle has shifted back to the 2010's where the program was primarily battling MAC/CUSA schools - not great.
