I'd be cool with Wagner. I do get a kick out of people that compare him to Leaf. Cause they're nothing alike
-
Apparently Kispert had a bad workout for the Pacers. Great! He was one of the guys I wanted nothing to do with
-
At this point if he turned into a slightly more athletic version of Hunter with a little more play making I'd be happy with him. Maybe he could end up like what Grant is for the Pistons, idk. Weren't there a bunch of rumors questioning his work ethic and stuff leading up to the draft? Might be misremembering
-
He is the mythical "can guard 1-5" player. Except usually when you bring those guys up it means either the 1 or the 5 they can manage on a switch or a short period. Whereas he can do it for extended periods of time. If he didn't have the offensive responsibilities he has, he could probably go down as the greatest defender ever.

50/14/5 in a title clinching win. in case people forgot Giannis hyper extended his knee a week before the Finals. Then went out and was a monster for 6 games
-
I mean he hasn’t done anything since sDu can and those guys retired. He doesn’t seem to like the modern game in general. granted it all comes down to talent. Coaching does make a difference
-
Am I the only one who thinks Pop is one of the most overrated coaches? Like I’d rather have him than not. But there are a lot of people who act like he is an amazing coach.
-
Aggressive Giannis is so good. Sometimes I think people forget how good he is
-
Sounds likd the Pacers are targetting Kispert. Would be a horrible draft if he is the prize. Cool he can shoot. Won't ne able tp defend anyone in the NBA. Couldn't even create against the WCC consistently. Guy does one thing even above average in the NBA. But boring guy wuth zero upside. So he fits Simon's MO
-
Remember when Philly traded Bridges for Smith? Granted Smith had some freak allergic reaction that he still hasn't recovered from(?)
-
Saw this on a Pacers site, and the reponses were finny. Adams +10 for Myles Most said no. I said yah. Most of the no's were because Adams has no value. Which is true. But like this is the exact type of move OKC would make and would get tons of praise for. Also when it comes to Adams contract its not like a killer for us. We aren't going to look to clear cap space because big FAs aren't gonna come here. Also its not like that contract hinders us in signing guys to extensions anymore than where we currently are since we give up Myles's and his contract.

I know there has been a correlation between free throw shooting and the potential to be a good three point shooter. But is there any breakdown about the actial statistics behind it? I really like JT Thor. He was a bad three point shooter (29%), but average shooting free throws (74%). I'd like to thIink that is good enough to think he could develop from three, but haven't ever seen the statistical breakdown of that free throw to 3 point shooting theory/concept.

I really want Bouknight
-
I really want Bouknight. He is the perfect off ball player to pair with Domas
-
I really hope that Giannis gets the chip this year. Probably their best chance with injuries to the Nets and it looks like the Clippers and Suns could easily go 7
-
Cause you don't really win with bigs anymore. Last year was an outlier. Literally, it was in a bubble. Even then that had more to do with LeBron and AD being top 5/10ish players in the league. Its a perimeter dominated league, Unless you have an Embiid or Jokic I don't want my big being ball dominant. I'd rather have a guy who is a top ten defender, cab space the floor, and you don't need to dedicate a big part of the offense to them.
-
Sick of this take on Myles. If you think he hasn't improved since then its a hot take, a bad hot take. Until this year he had improved his three point % every year. His defense has become elite. But yah, his development stagnated years ago.
-
Lot to take in
-
Yo
-
I could see guys like Doug, JHoliday. and Brogdon work with him. If Myles could get back to shooting the way he did 2/3 years ago him too, but his actual mechanics are too inconsistent. Basically just surround him by shooters and another guy who is adequate as a secondary ball handler/on ball creator. So yah not us rn
-
Or once they make the pick. Its a dumb rule. I get why its there, but when there is an easy work around whats the point
-
No. I don't really see Simmons and Domas being their best playing together. I think the first move needs to be breaking up Myles and Domas. Don't care who goes at this point, though I prefer Myles stay. But we've got enough evidence that we're better when they aren't together for extended periods,

Best news of the offseason by a mile
-
I really hope someone take Mitchell before us. Also orobably worth talking to a few teams abut their first this year

Clifford is a nightmare hire. Guys teams never overachieve to their talent level. Made the playoffs once in 4 years in Charlotte and "improved" to 2/4 in Orlando. I can live with the other two. Clifford would have me begging for McMillian Worth mentioning that one of those playoff appearances in Orlando was when they went 33-40
