The hype around the KAT trade was overblown by so many people. In a vacuum yah KAT is better. But the Knicks depth is basically gone now. McBride is solid. Who knows what Robinson is gonna be between the time he comes back and before he inevitably gets hurt again. OG is going to get hurt. There is no, if, its when and how long. KAT has dealt with injuries more and more as his career has gone on. I guess Thibs runs his guys into the ground already, but their top 5 are gonna have to play a ton. NBA season is long. Long term they hurt themselves adding KAT's contract too. Like. Whatever I guess. SAS can yell and scream all he wants. Knicks ain't winning it all

I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about the narrative/s around CC. Granted I am a fan Basically it came down to I was off put by a lot of media people with their coverage of CC and through that of the Fever.

So we don't really have a place to put WNBA stuff, so I think its appropriate to put it here. If not feel free to move this post somewhere more appropriate or whatever, Why does the WNBA have the worst playoff model in all sports? Whether you prefer series or one and done. This is the worst. A 2-1 where the lower seed gets no guaranteed home game is ridiculous. I don't love the 1-1-1 model, its better though. I'd argue a 1-2 model is better. Its probably my fandom of the Fever but the team with the top attendance not getting a home playoff game is so dumb. Its not even like it was a situation where they just happened to make it because someone had to. Once they got rolling they were a legit good team.

Vassell is a legitimately good NBA player. Sochan is solid as long as he doesn't play point. CP3 is old but they have a legit point guard out there now. Not to mention they still have Tre Jones. So they'll always have at least solid point guard play. Not saying they'll make some huge leap, but they're a solid team, ala Houston last year

NBA season starts in less than a month! Really excited. Wish I didn't have to give money to Bally Sports again, but whatever I suppose. Getting a training camp of Hali/Spicy P should help. Hali was hopefully able to rehab. I love Jarace, hope he gets some consistent run, his body type is the exact one that no one else on the roster really has and having a solid piece there is what they were missing last year. Do have to shout out the NBA. Found a way to screw the Pacers. They got chosen to be the team the Spurs play twice in Paris. Only team to lose a home game. Spurs aren't gonna be bad either, so not like ypu can argue that.

At what point do people seriously start calling for Bradley to be fired? Our defense has issues talent wise, but his complete inability to mitigate them scheme wise is really concerning.

I'm just as concerned about AR reading a defense. Mitchell is getting open. A lot. But he isn't getting the targets to make it seem that way. He had a pretty bad drop on Sunday. He is open this much and still not getting targets due to some seeming lack of trust then why is Mitchell playing. I'm not saying I believe that last sentende. Something has to be true though. Either AR is constantly reading the defense wrong. Or he doesn't want to throw to Mitchell

My one gripe with his evaluation of talent is his preference for tools over production. AR is a perfect example. Actualized AR is up there with Mahomes. Another would be the guys who get hurt all the time, Brents being the perfect example now. If Brents could stay healthy he'd give us something in the secondary. But like others before him, he can't stay healthy

Welp, I like Ballard. Think he has a good idea for talent. He isn't cut out to be the guy making decisions long term for a franchise

That sack number is one of the fakest numbers imagineable. Their pressure rate was awful last year.

.... please don't let AR be the new Luck to you I'm not saying AR was great, but getting on AR when the defense was a trashfire, the offensive line couldn't block anything. But this is exactly what you did with Luck who willed some bad Colts teams to some level of competency.

Based on expectations the offensie line was really disappointing. Didn't do a good job protecting AR. Did nothing to help JT. For a unit with so many dudes that have gotten paid pretty disappointing. Defense was bad. Did they do anything well besides get some sacks? Run defense was awful, defensive secondary was about as bad as advertised. Tight end group continues to be bad. More good than bad from AR.

In case people were ever doubting. Wemby is gonna be the best player of his generation by a bit. With consistent health top 5 dude all time
