Maybe it's an interactive board that shows " deflections" -
#IUBASE - 2015 Nashville Regional
wirenuts replied to ccgeneral's topic in Other Indiana Hoosiers Athletics
Not sure it can be blamed so much on bad coaching in this one. Pretty sure they weren't instructed to hit four batters and play bad defense. -
Warriors over cavs.

Wouldn't it have been better to change it to Trillie? It's definitely kind of funny, the only problem is that I'm laughing at him, not with him.

Boxing is the art of hitting more than getting hit. Something Floyd is a master at. People who paid all of this money to watch Floyd dance and clinch whenever he was getting hurt have every right to be disappointed. But they should have known better too. Floyd isn't going to change the way he fights ( or doesn't fight) just because the pay per view price is higher. He'll never change his style, until he retires. It's amazing the way that he can avoid contact. It's extremely boring the way he avoids standing toe to toe. He would have lost standing toe to toe with manny. He showed you that every time he got hit in the ropes. His defensive ability is incredible. His offensive ability is virtually nonexistent. He'll land just enough to earn a decision. That's always been his way. He is one of the best fighters of his generation, in spite of his running and hugging to stay out of contact. He is not one of the best ever, because of it. It is laughable to consider him in class with sugar Ray Robinson and Ali, and not even really the great welter middle weights of the 80's.

I know it probably won't happen but would love to see Coleman to colts

Really depends on what team they are playing against. If we are playing Purdue, I would expect a bigger lineup and not necessarily 3 guards. I would expect a 3 guard lineup against Maryland. I hope that crean will mix it up a bit to adjust for weaknesses, tendencies... Either way, that's a lot of depth and a really terrific problem to have.

Is Banner 6 a realistic possibility?
wirenuts replied to IUHoosier5's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
It's definitely a possibility. Even Vegas has pretty decent odds of Iu winning it all. I think they had it at 25:1. That was the same as duke. The NCAA tourney is a tough tourney. Any team can lose at any time. This team looks strong enough to win the big 10 for sure. That I do know. -
love it. Charvel's are flat out awesome.

They have this function on each song called a riff repeater. This helped me out the most. I always take the difficulty all the way up and reduce the speed until i can play at that speed fluently. Then just move the speed up. Pretty soon, the whole song is easier to play.

On a sort of related topic I have been playing a lot of rock smith for xbox. This game is awesome for people trying to work on your skills. I always am. It doesn't seem like you progress at first but the progress that you make is pretty unbelievable

I remember that you have the EVH bumblebee, that thing is badass.

OFFICIAL: Ferrell returns for Senior Season
wirenuts replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
once again, that's your opinion. I can see where you are coming from, but I also think the media crosses the line, as do the players and fans. My idea was that all of the news takes away some luster. It's just a sign of the times that I personally don't like. -
I forgot about this thread. Here is a few of my ladies. [attachment=2078:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1430075641.989576.jpg] 1996 American standard stratocaster. One of the only years with the tpx control which makes a strat sound like a tele[attachment=2079:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1430075739.206642.jpg] 2007 Gibson les Paul studio. Took out the pickups and installed Seymour Duncan pearly gates on neck and bridge, which I highly recommend.

completely agree the athletes hype it up also. I was not, in any way shape or form directing my statement towards any person on here. Is everything a media frenzy? Yes. Do I as an individual crave it? No, I don't. I have been a Hoosier fan my whole life but I'm not more or less a fan now with more information, than I was in the days where there was less. I agree that the Bruce Jenner chronicles or anything else is promoted not just by media but by Bruce. My point is there is too much news, period. Just one sign of the times that I, as a person, don't really enjoy so much. I realize the media has a job to do. I just wish they would do it less. Just an opinion, dude. That's all -

Just a thought... Kinda spitballing here... Maybe, just maybe, yogi was just planning this for friends and family and not necessarily for the media. Maybe the media leaked it prematurely? Maybe he didn't expect it to be the big deal it was shown to be? Maybe a source leaked it without him knowing or wanting them to? The only respect I lose is for the media, who continue to degrade themselves in an attempt to get the latest news, RIGHT NOW. Likely he scheduled it as a planned event, similar to Lebron's "announcement". Without the media being this involved with every single thing every single minute, none of these press conferences and "exclusives" would be what they are today. It's one of the main problems of the internet age, and one I could do without. Consider this: Aaron Hernandez was tried, and convicted well before the trial took place. The media took it, like they do everything, and ran with it. The fact that Hernandez did do it, or was there, gives the media a pass on this one. But what if he didn't? I know I'll have some arguments on this one, but I think the media is making things worse in the world on so many levels. As for yogi, I'm glad he's back. I haven't lost respect for a kid that was torn between 2 choices, and scheduled an announcement for it. I'm pretty surprised people have lost respect for him. He's just doing what his peers have done and what was encouraged within the media. -
OT: My First Viewing of 'Blue Chips'
wirenuts replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I respect his affiliation to Iu and the things he does for the community. But I don't like his music. Scarecrow, for me, is one of his few songs that are halfway decent. No I have not seen him live. Just not my cup of tea, that's all. And I do play guitar!! -

Yep. Going to put it on netflix shortly. Even if I hate mellencamp's music! Which I do -
C- played better at first, then worse as other teams adjusted and we did not. As Einstein would say, "insanity is doing the same things and expecting different results." Extra credit for playing well enough without an actual center. Points taken away for not having an actual center. Coaching staff is put on double secret probation.

#10 Indiana vs #7 Wichita State - Fri - 2:45pm ET - CBS

. I agree with you in this instance. But I ask you? Has crean done a good job on the majority of games he has coached? Fred glass said he judges performance on a body of work, not one game. Obviously, Fred glass and I have different opinions on what a successful coach. -

no, Indiana has to hit an amazing amount of threes to advance through each game.

Color me surprised. I have to wonder what the selection committee was thinking. Or maybe I drugged them. Yeah that's right.
