IU 35. Ohio St 34. Why not? -
So you're saying that luck didnt prepare the team effectively because he had an injury that got worse that he didnt know about? And didnt know it would get worse? Maybe, just maybe this man has been beaten on for so long that his body just doesn't heal as well as it did before? Yeah I'm sure he just decided to leave them in the dark, he probably knew the whole time. Lol
-
The timing isnt ideal but do you think that the colts would give him proper timing if they were going to trade or release him? I don't believe so, and I think he was enough all-in to play as hard as he could for a team that didn't really do that much to protect their greatest asset. And then publicly calls him out for an injury, instead of keeping it in house? The NFL is a business, both ways. React accordingly

Those "fans" that booed when he left the field made me more embarrassed to be a colts fan than any administration, GM, coach or owner ever did...and that is saying something

We should, if injuries arent as bad as last year and I agree with a previous statement. I think Miller has to make the tournament this year as well

And get rid of bruiser and bring in pitino...lol -
Very possible. I put them at a 5 because of the youth as a whole. Yes, the conference is weaker, I just think/hope they will lose some that they shouldnt
-
Memphis at a 5 seed, Indiana as a 10. Just a guess. I honestly dont know what kind of coach penny will be, but that is a whole lot of talent going to that team. It doesn't mean they will have team chemistry though

I would consider myself in the archie backing camp, and I agree with a lot of what you are saying on this. Juwan Howard is probably going to get a lot of top 100 recruits. So will penny. As calipari will continue to. Yes the honeymoon for Archie may well be over until IU becomes a consistent winner again. I just believe that addition by subtraction will work for this IU team this year. I believe that archie miller can coach better than penny or Juwan. It really does come to that. This past IU team was honestly one of the worst shooting teams that I have ever seen, also with the worst possible chemistry. I dont believe that this team gelled at all. It might have been leadership issues, shooting woes, Romeo sleeping with everyone's girl, etc. etc. Everybody can say whatever, it doesn't really matter. You either believe that Miller will right this ship, or you dont -
Its still really helpful on the riff repeater but I have found that it seems to be a little off on the timing of the songs. Great game, great idea though.

Went back and found this thread. Have had this guitar for about a month now and love it. Bought it brand new in the box....plays so well
-
Damn...they are. Oh well. They weren't good enough for a mt Rushmore anyways. I just remember them playing in Indy alot

Also I didnt really say that anything had to be mutually exclusive...even though it sounded that way. Maybe archie does need to teach more offense, and less defense. I cant really argue that at this point. I just saw how good this team could actually be if shooters can consistently hit open shots. It gives me hope for this coach and system -

Yes Archie can push. I'm not in his gym during his practices so I cant say one way or another. I have to assume that he does. -

wirenuts replied to CrossboneIU22's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Do you think crean made oladipo the player that he is today or do you think Victor was completely addicted to the gym and his craft? Crean had some to do with it im sure but the best way to be a shooter is to put up shots. I realize archies trends of bad shooting teams...but maybe he is emphasizing defense constantly, not a bad thing in my opinion -
2019 Off-Season IU Roster News and Moves
wirenuts replied to CrossboneIU22's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I just dont believe that this team was motivated to play anyone...you had players that moped when they wouldnt get the ball, other players that just stood around on the wing, waiting to get the ball when they had a true ability to take over a game. But the biggest issue by far was the inability to hit outside shots. You just cannot be a one dimensional team and try to be finishers when the other team knew exactly what you were gonna do, because you could do nothing else. The blueprint was set after IU's second game in the BIG. Coaches knew that they couldn't shoot, and they did exactly what the tape showed to turn IU into a one dimensional team. You cannot spread out the floor effectively if you cannot shoot. Period. You saw what the offense could do when they were making shots.
