When was it pointed out that it was all of the fans....if you are referring to my post, it very clearly says some of the fans. Either way, I'm not here for a semantics discussion on it. If you believe that IU fans can and should spout off personal attacks on a Facebook page.... Then I'll just agree to disagree and call it a day

And I'm not going to post a quote from either on either point, but its on their recruiting post on this board...im pretty sure it is on there. Yes, brass...fans may mean little to these kids and their decisions...that doesnt mean you should post all of the time about how they suck, their families suck, they are lazy, etc. It does not portray the program in a positive light with everything else that is going wrong with the program. Brass, you are a supervisor... Who would you rather have... An employee that is positive and tries to come up with the best solution on things or somebody that ******* about every little thing they are told to do?

Technology can be a great thing if people use it correctly. It can be one of the worst things in the world also. It's one thing to be passionate, I totally get that...what is wrong for me is when some of the fans rip into these people that they dont even know and make it personal...call them lazy, entitled, etc. Louisville, kentucky, duke, North Carolina all have the same groups and are probably worse than iu fans ever thought about being. And no, it shouldn't affect recruiting, but in the past year....brooks dad and others around Brooks did allude to the fanbase online, and I'm pretty sure quinones did as well. And maybe we didn't need those recruits, maybe they aren't the right fit for our programs. Its not just fans I'm talking about, its people in general. We cant just post anything we want at any time. We are supposed to strive to be better than that.

Of course not...im sure there are many other schools that have Facebook groups that completely thrash and destroy the players and coaches. Should the kids pay attention to it? Probably not. Is it an acceptable practice? I believe it is classless and shameful.

It may not hurt in coaches hiring but I cant see how it hasnt affected recruiting. Granted, the Facebook groups are filled with not so wonderful IU fans but I guarantee that the players and coaches have at least some idea of some of the ridiculous stuff that is put online. There is at least one group that has players parents on it and maybe even more than that.

My lineup is very similar to the one above, at least for the next few games... Brunk TJD Smith Anderson Phinisee I agree a message needs to be sent, and would like to see if Anderson can get more confidence in his shot with more minutes. His defense is highly improved, if only he could make those shots. I truly wonder about injuries to phinisee and hunter that have forced archies hand so to speak. Maybe that is the reason he has been using a platoonish lineup. Maybe those problems with those two players are worse than we think Granted the lineup above isnt ideal by replacing a Franklin with Anderson and Anderson could get smoked by shooting guards, but after watching the Maryland game I dont see how this lineup could do any worse than that while sending the message. As far as the guards go, they havent done really well at all, but if Franklin could fix the rotation on his shot, he could definitely raise his percentages and could end up being really special.

Yeah they should definitely go after beard... IU pays pretty well and would be a definite upgrade for pretty much any mid major coach. The question is though: who do they get if Chris beard says thanks but no thanks? Stevens and Donovan I dont think are walking through that door. Bruce Pearl has coached at two schools recently that are football schools, with basketball as the secondary. And I'm not sure indiana would want a bruce pearl, sampson, pitino etc to try to keep a squeaky clean image. There are a lot of posters that seem to want miller fired before the plane lands. I am as frustrated as everybody else, but who would we hire that would make it worth the buyout? Lastly, last time I checked, Fred glass is still here...do we actually want another coaching search done by the same people who did the last one. I think waiting on the new AD to pull the trigger makes much more sense.

I personally dont want Alford, as he was the coach brought up around the same time as Archie. Holtmann didn't want the job before, so that's out. I wouldnt be opposed to dane fife. I'm not sure they would get Chris beard but it would be worth a shot.

Personally I dont think he drops that far, but he would be worth taking at 13 in my opinion. I dont see very many players on the free agent market that would be worth taking...mariota, winston, ugh. Or maybe they wait until later rounds and pick up a defensive lineman with 13
