  1. Yogi and Troy reaction post game http://www.insidethehall.com/2015/12/03/video-iu-players-react-to-loss-at-duke/
  2. Dick Vitale on the Dakich show said he talked to Bob Knight about 20 minutes before he came on. Said Knight didn't watch the game. Didn't figure he did but interesting nonetheless. Talked about team defense.
  3. When Allen was asked to compare IU's defenses to other defenses Duke had faced this year, this was his answer, verbatim, after a long pause: "Um, you know they're, uh, they're obviously different than a Kentucky defensively, because they're not...they don't have the same size, but um, uh, their guards—Yogi (Ferrell), (Robert) Johnson, um, Blackmon, they're all quick. Um, and they can kind of get to the ball. Um, they don't have, uh, Bryant being their lone true big at the rim to protect, so it's kind of different inside, but their guards do a good job of being quick and getting to the ball."
  4. Just a question and not my pick but what about a guy like Elston leading them the rest of the season? I know he is brand brand new but I am not sold on any of he other assistants either. I think Elston is a guy that gets it.
  5. Saw a stat where PG was second in the league in 3PT FG made and he is still almost 50 behind the chef.
  6. Say IU does make an in season change.. Who on the staff would you like to see finish the year?
  7. @FireCoachTC Today is December 3rd, 2015. Has Tom Crean been fired? NO. #firetomcrean Lol the things I find on Twitter
  8. From @janitorinthegym Scouting report: let Brandon Ingram shoot #truestory ..we did, he scored...easy way out of slump .. Thanks #iubb
  9. Also something I don't think has been mentioned.. What was up with the long stare down after Troy blocked Allen's shot down 22?
  10. There was a ton of close game score predictions. A lot of us were concerned about IUs guard play that really didn't get going until garbage time. A lot of talk about just how bad IU defense is and how it's a leadership issue. Also a lot of us think top to bottom Dukes best performance of the year. There was also a post that Coach K just ended Tom Crean's career. Basically nobody is taking IU serious. Not much can be said to defend against that point either I don't think. I really do feel bad.
  11. After a night of sleep and a lot of processing what Indiana did from the opening tip to about the 10 minute mark in the first half was incredible. The offense looked unstoppable with good ball movement, back door cuts, not settling for the first open 3 they got. Defense looked pretty good getting a couple steals and some stops. Indiana wasn't turning the ball over. Then Duke went on one of their patented runs and it just seemed like Indiana said well we tried and that was it. The one play that stood out to me the most was in the second half on a ball screen at the top of the key zeisloft rotates over on a pass and immediately its rotated back to the top of the key for a wide open three by Matt Jones. They showed the reply and I don't know if I have ever seen someone that lost on Zeisloft if you saw the look in his eyes. Incredible to me that Thomas Bryant had zero boards. There are a ton of big men more skilled than Marshall Plumlee. In the end I think it was more about one coach making second half adjustment and another coach doing I don't even know. But for a 10 minute span to start the game, Indiana looked damn good.
  12. Excellent write up. I was really looking forward to the Plumlee/Bryant matchup in that I thought Plumlee would be a good test for Bryant. I also saw people saying that Troy/Jefferson would be a huge mismatch for Troy and I thought that as well. I could not believe it when it seemed that on every loose ball and every rebound, Jefferson was right there to make the play. 19 offensive boards is a massive stay. Really think it's time to give OG a shot in the starting 5. What can it hurt? He reminds me of Holt last year.
  13. Indiana is not looking for a lateral hire.
  14. From Twitter "In 20 years of data, Duke has never had a better offensive performance against a major conf opponent than their 1.53 PPP vs Indiana tonight."
  15. Indiana to me looked physically exhausted by halftime
  16. Roy Hibbert esque
  17. When Crean goes I wouldn't be upset to see half this roster go with him. They just don't get it.
  18. 19 offensive rebounds. MASSIVE stat. It is not hard to put a body on someone. Rebounding is mostly effort.
  19. Ayyyyy gets the job done
  20. Damn y'all. Damn.
  21. I thought it was bad but I did not know it was this bad. This shows where Indiana pretty much stacks up against the contenders this year. Wow I don't even mean to sound like I am rubbing it in so I am sorry if it comes of as such.
  22. This is mad awkward
  23. Good luck guys see you post game
  24. Man I wish Gbinije would have stayed at Duke
