Theres no point in creating a random topic in the basketball section about nothing. If you think its dead then jump in on some convo's.

3-4 On the bright side my 3 best players are my 3 freshman starters. My freshman PG doesnt get many assists but he scores in bunches and he's had multiply 4+ steal games.

    2018 General Recruiting Thread

After reading through the last couple pages I have to disagree with some of you. Zeller wasn’t the program changer that a lot of people choose to remember him as. Was he a good player? Yes. Program Changer? Not at all. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  10. OVERVIEW Devine's father, Desmond, played football at Fresno City College before a knee injury ended his career. He helped his son become a solid high school back at vaunted Glenville High School, but Indiana was his only scholarship offer through most of the recruiting process. The Hoosiers got a good back in Redding, who was the first back since Vaughn Dunbar in 1990-91 to have back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. He was an honorable mention All-Big Ten pick in 2016 (253-1,122, seven TDs rushing; 27-146, two TDs receiving), one season after reaching four digits in rushing as a sophomore (226-1,012, nine TDs rushing; 12-85 receiving). In his first season with the program, he played in 10 games (29-118, one TD). ANALYSIS STRENGTHS Patient runner who operates with desired tempo for zone scheme. Runs with wide eyes and good peripheral vision on stretch plays and sweeps. Responds quickly when cut-back lane begins to develop for him. Pace is good from first to second level. Has a feel for development of blocking in front of him and is able to make a sudden decision when necessary. Smooth in his reads from first to second level. Has subtle, efficient shifts in direction without gearing down when rolling downhill. Decisive runner with feet in a constant state of chop while probing for openings. WEAKNESSES Could use more weight on his frame. Runs with hip tightness that strangles his ability to make sharp cuts and directional changes. Has tendency to roll into cuts which puts him into harm's way prematurely. Lacks memorable power at impact and will lose more battles than he wins when challenging with force. Has very few clean broken tackles over last two seasons. Leg drives and contact balance are inconsistent. Quicker than fast. May struggle to keep runs play-side and out-race the defense to the corner. Primarily a check-down and swing pass option in passing game. NFL COMPARISON Alex Collins BOTTOM LINE Garden variety zone-scheme runner who has the decisiveness and vision to operate in that offense, but lacks the explosiveness, size and play strength to make a living as an NFL starter. Redding is more of a grinder than a special talent, and he'll likely just get what is blocked, but he's also capable enough to handle work in a zone scheme if called upon and should compete for the third running back spot. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/devine-redding?id=2558139

Dorsett to the Patriots for Brissett. I’ve seen tweet that say the Patriots “fleeced” the colts but I disagree. Dorsett sucks and likely was getting cut today so why not get something for him. Plus Brissett is better than Tolzien Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

  23. Brooks is a must get imo. But that’s more of a personal thing. I think this kid has out of this world potential and I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t reach it so I really really want him. Hurt, T-Wat, Davis, etc etc would make be very happy too Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Personally I got really lucky. The water only made it half way up our yard but two streets over one of the guys that works for us got completely flooded. My grandparents roof got ripped off, but they were staying here so they weren’t home when it happened. Most major roads are closed, but we are finally going back to work tomorrow. Houston however is pretty destroyed and Joel Olsteen is public enemy number 1 down here.
