I'm not a fan of Crean and I don't think we will hang a banner with him. BUT as an IU fan I don't want us to lose just for him to go. I'll never root against IU for any reason. If Im wrong and Crean gets the job done and hangs one I'll be thrilled and eat crow all at the same time. I don't want Crean to fail by any means because that will mean IU is failing. It's a failure in the sense I believe we should have got farther if that makes sense. Well in the same sense when Devin Robinson chose UF I made the comment I wouldn't go to a school with so much competition at his position when he can get a starting job pretty easy somewhere else. The reply I got was if he's scared of competition I don't want him, so couldn't the same be said for the new coach. If he's scared of that and isn't confident enough in his abilities would you want him? I'm just curious there's no right or wrong answers to when should a coach be on the hot seat to be honest.
