2024 PG Daquan Davis to Florida State

Didn’t he move his OV from the spring to this weekend or am I thinking of someone else. If he did, how do you know we are dragging our feet on him -
Time with family > pay. Sorry you had to take a cut but very nice that you got to stay with first shift.

Well I just went to my browser and typed in the info you suggested. Did not necessarily work but following your second suggestion I clicked on the link above and this time the story was not blocked. So maybe the first messed up approach cleared my cache somehow

Curious what that does. I tried it and got past first firewall and yet when I clicked on the story header it took me the subscribe page

Didn’t she have a few notable transfers early on that created some questions/concerns. -

To quote Verna from Hoosiers, “this goes a little deeper than 1 game”. Bruce is a guy that gets into the tournament just about every year. Not a lot of deep runs but he certainty has had some. All 6 years at TN they made it in and over that time go to 2 sweet sixteens and an elite 8. At Auburn he took a few years to get going but have made the tournament 5 of the last 6 years and had a Final Four in 2018/19. So, if woody can build a track record like that, or hopefully better, a loss to an App St will be more easily overlooked -

Succession plan could be the most challenging part. Would Woody want to have one of his assistants take over? Would we go IU guy again? Could we go outside the program for a top coach and keep the history connected? Would be nice if Woody can find a way to deliver a really big year soon -

We had frustrations with Woody last year early in the season and then as the season wore on things started to click. I cannot remember how many games in this was but I remember posting about lacking confidence in him. One thing I came to appreciate after the RMK reflections on HH is that hiring Woody and restoring the Hoosier family may end up being the best reason to have hired him. If his peak is making the tournament 4/5 years but never make a deep run that is still a big jump from where we were and reuniting the Hoosier family (former players welcome back) may have to be enough in the short term. -
From article describing top portal QBs available https://theathletic.com/5104498/2023/12/01/college-football-transfer-portal-quarterbacks-tracker-best-available/?amp=1 Kurtis Rourke, Ohio: The 2022 MAC Player of the Year recovered from an ankle injury late last season to make it back in time to start this year for the Bobcats. MAC coaches told The Athletic they felt like the 6-foot-5, 230-pound Canadian was better as a junior last year before the injury but still see him as a mid-level Power 5 starter. Over the past two seasons, Rourke threw 36 touchdowns and nine interceptions. His competition percentage this year did drop to 64 percent from 69 percent last year. “He’s very good,” said one MAC head coach. “He’s just an elite decision-maker. Someone will get a proven winner and a leader.”

That would seem to be a really good get right?

Any idea if that indicates we will have someone better

Who is daily Hoosier and are they connected? -
If he can be as good as Mallory we will have done well. Hopefully, Cigs can be even better but good to remember that Mallory went winless his first year.

For commits we like that enter the portal hopefully they just want to test the waters, be recruited by the new staff and give it some time.

True and even though most of us fans do not think we have played that well we have only lost once and beat Maryland. Coaches can still easily pitch the "we are building for a post season by playing a lot of people" and "have you seen our bigs play this year" effectively. -

His defense has looked better than expected though and on this team, perimeter D is needed. Now I have only seen 2 games so he could have been terrible on D in the others -
Probably but it really seems colts are getting more out of this team than what is expected. QB and RB1 gone, TEs and WRs pretty young and the line is doing a nice recovery from last year. The team could easily be competing for a top 5 draft pick again but instead they are seemingly building a winning culture even if play has been sloppy. Is an easy schedule helping greatly, sure, but other bad teams are continuing to bad outside of us and Houston.

Well we saw what happened to the dog. Waging a tenacious battle against complacency is more easily accomplished if your chairs are not too comfortable right
