Partially agree except the blowout losses to UConn and Auburn were bad losses for me. In the end the committee will likely just see those as losses and if so then you are right. Michigan on the road is really the only good win so hopefully we add more and potentially some great wins.

When KSU went zone that seemed to have been a big turning point. I was at the game and kept telling my daughter they will come out of the zone next time only to be wrong. Were they sticking to that because of foul trouble ?

Outside of an 8 game stretch at the end of the 21-22 season X has been wildly inconsistent as a scoring threat for us. If we could have seen that performance at the end of his first year carry over to the beginnings of last year or this year there would not be any of that talk. While his offensive game has not been consistent his defense and ball handling have been pretty consistent and would really be helpful right now.

I always seem to be pressed for time when trying to eat before a game. With a 6pm tip if you wanted to hit buffalouies or Nicks before the game what time would you think we should show up at the restaurant?

Surprising on Cupps. With all the extra work he puts in I would expect his form to be solid in warmups. Figured he just needed to find the comfort in games.

Kevin Wilson had some of this as well. Remember the time he was on the sports radio talk show and while he was waiting to go on air the hosts were recalling our dismal past. As soon as he gets on air he starts ripping into the hosts. my only concern with CC is he still needs to do it as this level.

I think a very high guard or two is the key. Scoring guards. Guys that are dangerous from outside and on the drive. Guys that want to play defense as well. Hopefully Liam is a legit shooter but we still need a high end guard

I like woody but we keep using this excuse with our coaches while other programs turn around quickly. In his first year with Archie’s players we had a great D but over the his 3 years that D has gotten worse.

Has JMU taken in any portal kids from other schools? Any idea if their new coach brought any coaches or players from his prior school over to JMU?

I think this could work very well for both of them. As a DC only, he can focus just on that and this is an area I think he can flourish again. I know his defenses got weaker when he became the DC again here but I wonder if he was stretched too thin as HC.
