This seems to be a trend the last two years. Losing games late. Must have had about 8 or 9 losses in the last few minutes of a game or extra time the last couple of years

Need to finish this year with a bowl. 4-1 and a well played game vs OSU certainly does not make a seat hot but a really poor finish to the year and no bowling and that seat will heat up very quick

A lot of articles this week suggested we would have a strong defensive focus this year. I know it is just one practice but I had hoped Fran would have said "a lot of time spent on defense".

I am not sure that fits here. McRobbie is like the CEO of Coke and CTC the CEO of Dansani Water. McRobbie will be judged more on the educational side of things and Glass and the coaches on Athletics.

TB is close to both of the recruits on campus this weekend. Handing out any punishment before they arrived would distract from their visit. Thus the decision to wait until they leave

Did he underachieve at Manchester, UNM or SWMS? Iowa, yes but he did win two BTT titles while underachieving. UCLA is still too early to tell but he is recruiting very well

I agree. You can't be mediocre and have dead horses all around for us to beat though.

I think the staff really wanted him and showed him priority this summer. So missing a guy they invested that time in hurts. I kept hearing last year how we were in really good shape with the 16 class. I was doubtful then but when we landed TB I thought maybe that might help give us momentum. I did not think Ibi was a difference maker but the staff wanted and missed him. I know you cannot get everyone but you hope to get the kids you prioritize.

I keep hearing that we are in really tight with the Indiana 2017 class so perhaps the shotgun approach here is to help move that group along. I expected a narrower strategy though if we were expecting a lot of commits from the Indiana 2017 class

For what it is worth, Dakich heard something last week and seemed pretty confident that the punishments were not going to be too severe and that the NCAA believed ol Roy.

We had a great swimming and diving program and have had several distance runners excel here as well

Yeah I understand and agree. I would not really have a problem if we said sorry we want kids who really want to come be at IU. Sometimes you don't worry as much about kids at the end of the spectrum. I do not think we are putting that much effort in on Max and am fine with either approach.

Just don't see it happening. Last year it would have made sense but now after starting all year and having an offseason to get even better I cannot see Crean moving him to the bench
