I don't think Shittu goes to Vandy without DG. So far Shittu has only cancelled a UNC trip. If anything more solid comes about regarding Shittu to Vandy then I am assuming DG is headed there as well. Seems to be a lot of momentum right now towards Vandy. We used the "you can become a state legend" pitch to Romeo and hopefully it works but since DG will hear that pitch being used by us for Romeo it might have some draw for him at Vandy too. Yeah maybe earlier if he can hand off post game assignments to an assistant coach but 8 is a good estimate. They probably would not meet for more than a couple hours so they could be done by 10. I got the impression the coaches flew some Cook planes, at least sometimes. If you fly a private jet like that you basically show up at the airport and go. When you land you can have a car waiting for you and you are in route in minutes. It would still mean getting in Sunday after dinner but he could probably get there in time. Crean had momentum after Cody committed. We landed Yogi then the movement class and had Blackman and Lyles(?). We got the Zeller team to a national contender level and had such a bright future. Then all that promise fizzled out. The potential of Archie's first class is great and I will love the excitement it will bring but I am ready for consistent top classes but more importantly consistently competing at a high level. Peegs and Rabby I think had closer access to Crean and/or the athletic department and as a result seemed to have good access for some information but this created a conflict when it became pretty clear Crean was gone.
