Yeah, after 4 pages of this, what I get is that Btown Banners has its doubters, but nobody wants to see him gone at this point, unless I missed a post somewhere. So I guess the answer to the OP is, nobody here. Not sure it matters, I don't think he goes anywhere for 3-4 years, regardless.

Agree to some degree, but he is a force in the lane on D and in rebounding. We have other big men who can clog the lane, but Perea can fumble away more rebounds than he can grab. Just on rebounds, second chance points and defense, Vonleh is a valuable force to be reckoned with.

Cold rain here now. Haven't seen any snow yet. Should be fun getting to work tomorrow.

Love that. They desreved it!

And thats pretty much it in a nutshell. I suspect that there are a number of other schools who have a transfer rate somewhere in the same neighborhood as CTC has at IU. Isn't much different than being out there in the working world.

Would have loved to have had him back, but I wish him all the best!

Was kind of afraid of that.

Actually as far as Zeller goes that's pretty much what it was, or he was playing the 4 and doing it on a drive. The lack of ability to make the entry pass to a player who is playing with his back to the basket is a earmark of this system. One of the accolades that CTC gets is for developing guards, and deservedly so. But from clear back in his days at Marquette there has been a knock on him for his inability to develop big men, and deservedly so there also. We do not take advantage of talented bigs. Agree with that or not, I'll post the points that I feel are valid, and you do the same. No need to suggest that those you disagree with should just shut up. This forum is about discussion and as long as its civil it will continue.

Helluva second half. -
Two points from me on this though. First I think it is highly possible that he will find that much of what worked for him at Butler just won't work in the pros. And as such he may find a desire to go back to college ball, although it might be at another mid-major. I very well could be wrong, he is a awful smart guy. Second, at IU he might not have to change his recruiting all that much. In his style of ball he doesn't need the stable of NBA prospects that the Creans and Caliparis need. He would probably have to secure a top notch recruit here or there, but he could probably be successful without stocking up on 4 and 5 stars. Thats all a moot point if he just doesn't want to do it.

I can only take care of the one. Stroke Jaybob for another! :cheese:

Dang, Charlie, in your opinion we ought to run every coach and player in every sport in the state of Indiana out of town on a rail? Are there any players or coaches in the Ft. Wayne Curling League that we can get rid of for you?
