Nothing to beat you up for there. I tended to wonder if the reason that Fabris did not do better here was because he had to coach up lesser talent than he was used to.

Only source I've seen thrown around is coachingsearch.com, and they don't quote any sources, just say to keep an eye on him as a possible replacement.

Mallory had a history as a position coach on a good defense too... :good:

USF would have been a good starting gig for a first time DC. I think though that there is a year or two gap between USF and Fordham, which is really what had me wondering. We'll see, coaching convention this weekend, I bet some more names come out.

Seems to me like Don Henley commented 15 years ago that the country music of that time was pretty much what the Eagles had done in the 70's. Doesn't matter, I like the Eagles, Patsy Cline, Garth Brooks or the Zac Brown Band. Never have understood how some people claim one style of music and won't listen to anything else. Hell, crank up some Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem and lets go!

They viewed him as a possible target. He definitely has a good history as a position coach on some very good defenses. Here is his Fordham bio page: http://www.fordhamsports.com/coaches.aspx?rc=77 Just looking at stats and statistical rankings its not all that overwhelming, however, Fordham went from 1-10 in 2011 to 12-2 in 2013. However, also looking at statistics tells me that Fordham was 7th in the country in total offense last year, while the defense had improved to 71st in total defense from 117th in 2011. Not much to go on, but makes me wonder whether they run a very similar offense to IU's leaving the other team a lot of TOP to run up the stats.

Coaching Search seems to think the DC at Fordham, David Blackwell, is a candidate for the DC job.

I am particular about my music, but genre is rarely my concern. I listen to rock, country, bluegrass, classical, jazz, etc. I have probably listened to more country music in my life than I have any other genre. But yes, most of its over 10 years old. A lot of its older than I am. About the only two styles I don't listen to are opera and rap. If they wanted me to listen to opera, they'd sing more of it in English. Same with rap, but it really just sucks.

LOL, I was reading over on Scout where a poster had said that he had heard rumblings about the DC change, and when questioned about it, related that he had got the info from a head guy at footballscoop.com. Went there, and this was the first thing to pop up. EXCITED! Where's JS? He needs to change his sig line.

My guess is that the have replacements lined up already!

Wow. Was just on Football Scoop and seen that. Was going to post it here, but, of course, the General was already on it!

LOL, what surprises you about the music selection? Its mostly pretty mainstream, if somewhat dated.

Ha! Glad to see you found us. Hey post it all here. Personally, I hear very little music that has been made in the last 10 years thats worth listening to, but every once in a while, I get surprised.

What makes us IU fans so hard to please?

Hah! Thats one big reason IU fans are so hard to please. A bigger thing is, that not only do we want to win, but we want it done the right way. -

http://espn.go.com/blog/ncfrecruiting/on-the-trail/post/_/id/50216/watch-live-dominique-booths-announcement Link to Booths announcement. Per everything I've seen it will be on ESPN.com, not on TV.
