Well, we technically are right in the thick of things. Might take some work but if this staff is determined we could finish in the cellar.

This year has been so embarrassing he should pay some of that back.

This is Indiana and Woodson is a program legend. Yes, I absolutely think that. The decision makers have shown just how deeply unserious they are about this program.

At Kentucky he may not have made it through that 12 game span before the fans ran him out of town. May need to give Woodson longer. Don't want the optics of being a bunch of big meanies that keep firing the crappy coaches we keep hiring.

You must be new. Literally the only chance Woodson isn't back is if he decides to retire. This is Indiana, we don't fire bad coaches when we should.

Lol no. It's Indiana, bad coaches have to have enough time to really make a mess of things. After they suck next year, maybe. If the powers that be are willing to take the black eye of firing a guy a program legend.

Shows how bad the staff is. Galloway had 1 good shooting year. Johnson can win you the game or be so bad you'd think he's a double agent, you don't know which you'll get minute to minute much less game to game.

Woodson was a great player here, but not a good coach. Hiring him was always going to have a messy end unless he retired on his own. And sorry, keeping him isn't a good idea just because we didn't fire Miller when we should have.

Might be a challenge considering that hump is a 65 year old named Mike Woodson.

Keep the crappy coach that never should've been hired because the previous crappy coach was given too long. What could possibly go wrong.

And further removed from IU being relevant and further into a generation that's mainly known IU as a joke.

He's married to that idea, it's how he wants to, and seems will, play sink or swim.

That's a call IU should 100% make if there wash a chance he'd leave Bama. I suspect they'd assume he'd never leave and not even pick up the phone, then watch as he goes to UL.

How dare IU operate like a program that wants and expects to win. No, bad coaches have to be given a decade+ in the name of "stability" even if it's not earned. Nevermind that IU is the only program so poorly run that they'd hire a guy in his 60s with no college experience and hadn't been a HC in a decade.

Saw a video of The Bangles playing Hazy Shade of Winter, originally by Simon & Garfunkel, from 2019. Susanna Hoffs was 60 but I'm pretty sure she found the fountain of youth and drank it dry. Her and that Rickenbacker was a dangerous combination. And the intro to that song is pretty fun to play.

I think maybe Woodson didn't realize just how much different college is from NBA regarding time commitment. With recruiting etc there's not much of an offseason in college.
