That's okay, they're a basketball school. Until basketball season starts, then they suddenly claim to be a football school.

Not to be confused with what everyone in the country says, "what's a Purdue?"

P*** on the f*****g boilers

I prefer the one that shows their "defense lives here" sign, and with a caption of 97 points later defense moved out.

Tom Crean speaking in Evansville
JSHoosier replied to All_Hoosiers's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I don't think it is. Look at Collin and Luke on either side of him, it's pretty obvious they're standing flat footed. Actually, the only other player where it looks like they aren't flat footed is Jeremy. I've seen the the same picture taken at a different angle and it showed it even more clearly. He's still a beast, just not as tall as it appears in this picture. -
3 ranked opponents, with a bunch of teams a random collection of posters from this boad could probably give a challenge to. Exaggerating, slightly.

Tom Crean speaking in Evansville

Look at his feet, he's clearly not standing flat footed. -
Same way as a picture. Click on the little icon that looks like a tree in a frame, and copy/paste the URL there.

And those three had some help with the recruiting threads. -
Verdell Jones III - Champaign Fire Department (Illinois)

Somehow it always came down to that. The thread could be about theoretical particle physics and somehow it'd turn into a Hulls vs. Verdell debate. -
Put the claws away.

A mobile QB like UM has, against our D. I'm not much of a drinker, but I may need to stock up on beer before this game. UM- 42 IU- 27 -
(2014) PG Dante Exum to NBA
JSHoosier replied to JSHoosier's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
That's why I didn't make a recruiting thread for him until now. -
Yep. No wonder she scores so much, it's hard to guard someone that is in range as long as she's on the planet. Her shot at 1:23 or so challenged Jordy's against MSU, and I'm pretty sure he shot that from China.
-
People really should watch some of her highlights on YouTube, the places she shot from would challenge Jordy's range and I am not joking. This girl can flat out play.
-
I can do one on him tomorrow.

Hard for me to say "favorite" song, there are several I like though. Here's a good one The Metallica cover is an inexcusable travesty, bordering on a crime against nature.

Jordan Hulls - IUBB Recruiting Coordinator
JSHoosier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Hoosiers in the Pros
I know I'm not the only one wondering how a pro ball player can manage to get his shot blocked by Jordan Hulls. 6 turnovers! Holy crap, Jordy. -
Those freshmen haven't proven anything on this level, and every year there are highly rated freshmen that don't pan out. Don't forget that most freshmen need time to adjust to the college game, and working out with teammates is different. We're not talking about the type of freshmen UK brings in, those are not typical freshmen. What we got from Hollowell last year is pretty typical of most freshmen. Here's their Rivals ratings and I'm focusing on the 2 rated highest outside of Vonleh (we all expect him to be big this year) Hollowell- 41 Williams- 47 Robinson- 56 Many fans expected Hollowell to be a contributor last year, and he showed promise but was largely overwhelmed. Vic played a lot of a freshmen, but he was no where near what he'd become, and let's face it that team was bad (won 12 games) so he had to play a lot unless you wanted more walk-on Daniel Moore. Don't be surprised if what we get from Williams and Robinson this year is about what we got from Hollowell last year. I've seen them both play, not just highlights that can make almost anyone look good, and that's what I expect.

About the biggest complaint I have with the list is not even having us in the 'others to watch' category. Some may feel we should be top 25, but I can see why he'd leave us off. We lost a lot of scoring from last year with no real proven commodities besides Will and an inconsistent Yogi (shooting wise), and brought several new players into the fold. Plus we have to remember some of those teams will not be there later in the year. Vitale can be annoying, but he does know the game.

I forgot pUKe was bringing back both Poythress and Cauley-Stein. Ah, fudge. :banghead:

This is one argument I always get tired of. People crying because some teams are in a big market and use an advantage they have. Without a salary cap big market teams will always be able to throw huge contracts at free agents. They also have revenue sharing and luxury taxes to pay on it, and honestly I think some teams (like Miami) should be forced to open their books and show what they're actually doing with all the revenue sharing dollars they get because they're sure as hell are not putting it into the team. Don't hate the teams for doing it, hate baseball for not doing anything about it. With that said, thank God Selig is retiring.

The Cards are very good at drafting/development. They draft in the later part of the 1st and still have that kind of farm system.
