Disappointing, and we can all thank Doug Mallory.   We scored 49 against Michigan, that should be enough to win nearly any game.  Despite some offensive struggles we still scored 39 against Minnesota and that should be enough to win several games.  Yet both were losses because the defense couldn't stop a pop warner team.

  The same could be said for the Steelers defense in that game.

He's successfully prevented his share of wins.  Unfortunately, he's preventing wins for the team paying him.

The only thing the "prevent D" prevents is your winning the game.  So yeah he's excellent at that.

Sadly they won't fire him mid-season.  Wilson will keep jumping through hoops to blame the offense for the defense being utter garbage.

Fire him at halftime.  The way his D plays, it could be over by then anyway.

For my victory this week, I'd like to thank Doug Mallory. I wouldn't have this honor if he knew how to put a competent defense on the field.

Well, watching that game wouldn't lead to much happiness. Unless you're Doug Mallory, then you're ecstatic that your defense only gave up 42 points.

It will be inexcusable if Mallory isn't fired the second the season ends. I literally mean instantly fired as soon as the last game ends.

I would agree with this. Especially considering the story that he tried to get Robinson to join him here.

It hit him in his hands. After he got up all he did was stand there, even though the ball was right there at his feet.

I was okay with the first 2 pt attempt, it would've tied the game. I would've gone for the PAT the second time though. I hate the lateral call. Why the hell did Coleman give up on it? It wasn't a good pass, but he could've covered it.
