For those that think next season will be Woodson's last; do not underestimate the stupidity IU leadership has shown. They were stupid enough to hire Woodson then doubled down on said stupidity and kept him, they are absolutely stupid enough to extend him. -

This. Woodson is being kept because people with power/money want to protect their friend. Woodson will hire Payne to protect his friend. Short of a complete meltdown next year they'll look for every excuse to bring him back for year 5. -
Doesn't help when some of the Trustees are politically appointed, and a politician's interests align with whichever check had the most commas.
