Well Woodson couldn't make a FF with the Globetrotters so if that's true then he's gone. If he won't retire and a move needs made there's no reason to give him another year, making the whole plan stupid. That plan would effectively burn high school recruiting and the next coach would have to start from scratch, unless they think the guy that had to be told to go to sectionals will suddenly do that part of his job. Appreciate the input but just kind of reinforces what I already thought that Buckner etc are putting Woodson over the program. I would love to have Pearl on the sidelines.

I would be thrilled with Pearl. The guy can coach and has won everywhere.

He's still under contract, even that was more than they needed to do. If you're waiting for an official announcement from Dolson, don't hold your breath.

They already announced he's staying, about the only way to be more disappointing would be announcing an extension. Or that they reached an agreement on Woodson spending no days on the recruiting trail.

People would be more patient if they saw something was actually being built, we were with Crean. Part of the issue with Woodson is there's no foundation and no recruits committed.

Dolson might need someone's that's proven they can win at this level to get movement, so May would be difficult. Note: I have no sources, this is just my opinion on what I think.

May isn't their friend, Woodson is. Buckner wanted his friend to have the job when Miller was hired, him/Woodson got their feelings hurt, now he's making sure his friend is taken care of. Pure nepotism.

He has/had no business being head coach at IU, but his friend$ are the reason we aren't getting a new coach. There's plenty of blame to go around.

There's a reason IU's last 25 years have been IU's last 25 years.

Which Indiana isn't and aren't showing any signs of. Short of a total meltdown, or burning an orphanage on Christmas eve, the clowns in charge will use every excuse to protect their friend again next season.
