Who would've guessed that we'd only get coaches worse than Crean. Miller can't win away from Dayton, and Woodson's only "qualifications" was that he played here over 40 years ago. The administration would almost have to try to be as inept as they've been the last 25 years.

He got his feelings hurt when Miller was hired though.

If the W stood for Woodson that would make a lot of sense. He was always quick to defend Woodson's mess.

We've already let it go on too long. My worry is he does just enough to make the tournament and they use that as justification to keep him and we're stuck in this until he decides to hang them up.

Was he telling them to chill? I mean they're making the men's team look bad, not that they needed help to look bad.

Someone should tell Woodson that Moren did her job. I'm sure he'd love that one.

With the ladies in the Sweet 16 again, 3 of the last 4 years with one of those ending in Elite 8, maybe Moren should've gotten the 1m raise Woodson got. He doesn't deserve it anywhere near as much as she does.

I think we've already seen that Buckner's expectations end with the name Mike Woodson.

Woodson was a great player at IU. It probably doesn't help that for students today and many fans Mike Woodson the player only exists in old pictures. I've got a cousin that goes to IU currently, her parents would've been young when he played.

So IU is out, this administration is a clown show.

Unfortunately IU doesn't see the problem. Or just doesn't care that it's a problem.

Yeah, if they're willing to hire and retain (and give a 1m raise) to someone not suited for the job just because he's their friend then they deserve to have it blow up in their face. They deserve to see an empty stadium etc; of course if tickets are sold to begin with they got their money regardless of people showing up.

I saw that part. Just saying there is no plan, if the administration at IU was that smart we wouldn't be talking about Woodson as coach to begin with.

There's no master plan. It's pure unadulterated nepotism.

The people in charge care that he played there though. If big money donors said "Woodson goes or I don't donate to men's basketball" that'd get their attention.

Won't matter. IU doesn't want the black eye of firing a program legend, no matter how deserved it is, they care way too much about optics.
