Crean had just as much if not more tournament success when we hired him excluding the fluke final four run; he atleast made the round of 32.

Devries would be a legitimate let down. He's not a big fish by any stretch. I wouldn't be rushing out to get new gear, I know that.

This. It wasn't a guarantee IU would make the tournament, if they had a contract with someone they should've had a plan in case of missing the tournament.

Of course the poster that said big wink also started the McCollum thread. If that's the case we have different definitions.
