I have it easy today at school since it's an early out and parent/teacher conferences today. Spring break starts Friday! This is me every 5 minutes:

Sure. It's fun to read and hope, but they need to stop making comments like, "Dolson has his guy," or "Done deal," or "It's always been Brad."

I would give anything for IU's record to look like that over the same time period. That dude is a winner. Sign me up.

But but but.....the insiders of this board is still saying it is Brad Stevens. Why would they be talking to anyone else?

I"m not 100% sold on him yet since I want a big fish hired. However, a young Brad Stevens had no experience as a D1 head coach until he took over the Butler job, and all he did was win. McCollum has proven that he can win championships (even though it was at D2). You don't just win a championship (x4) by being an average coach. Plus, he's already winning at Drake. I might have convinced myself to be all in on him.

Well, Vicksburg was key to controlling the Mississippi River, and it split the Confederacy after it fell. I have heard about John Tyler's grandsons being alive today. The crazy thing is that he was the vice president to Tippecanoe (William Henry Harrison-- Tippecanoe and Tyler Too!), the hero of the Battle of Tippecanoe, which I believe is very close to that university that we shall not speaketh of. Do you know who had a beard? Famous Confederate general John Bell Hood, who adopted Texas as his state. Beard coached at Texas Tech and Texas. Do you know who was from Georgia and had a famous beard? General James Longstreet, which so happens to be Chris Beard's state of birth. My mind is blown!! Make of that what you will.

The Andrew Jackson era? The fight over the National Bank (we just did that in class two days ago).

Alright this is the history teacher in me, but we are on page 1863. It is one of my favorite years in American History. That's the 3rd year of the American Civil War and the famous Battle of Gettysburg. I am betting we hear about the next coach when we reach page 1944, which is my favorite year in history: WW2 and D-Day in Europe. Let's go!

Just say it. I hate when people with info or claim to have info do this. Is it just for likes? Why bother with crap like this?

How dare you go against this board's "insiders" intentionally or unintentionally. You can't have a voice outside of their information. If other people with information posts on here then it gets shot down and criticized. Even if it is valid, well thought out, or detailed. However, they can provide "info" such as "cracks are leaking...." and everyone loses their damn minds.

I think if it was going to be Brad Stevens as the next IU coach, we would have heard about it by now. I don't buy the "They would want to respect the current IU coach and team....." I think it's going to be Chris Beard. Dude is a winner. I'd be happy with Iowa St.'s coach, Arizona's coach, Drew, or the Texas Tech coach. Let's get this thing going and have IU start winning regularly again.

That's the MO of this board. Supposed insiders drop vague messages and everyone drools over it as if it's gospel. But I digress. Don't want 10 pages of "We appreciate the info and blah blah blah....." To redirect. I want Beard, T.J., or Drew.

They just like when the “insiders” talk in code or riddles, or are very vague with their info. “I know things but I can’t say now on that front…” I do agree that Stevens to IU is not a 0% chance, but I have about the same chance to go on a date with Lily James (google her—hot!) as BS to IU though, so like 0.01% chance

Has IU announced the hiring of Brad Stevens yet? I'm impatiently waiting.

We are off since it's President's Day. I'm alone in my house scrolling waiting for some good news, and I am drinking my coffee. Nothing to do but wait. I should be grading, but that sounds like Tuesday's problem. Go Hoosiers!

Wanted to check out other sites to see what everyone was saying about the coaching searches. Have always hoped the things on here were true, but got fooled into believing slightly that they were correct. Wanted to get in on the fun. Third time with the same results and I am saying what I’m saying. I don’t mind going back to being a lurker and never posting again. Just wanted to call out the bs since I actually have an account now.

All of the “insiders” this morning said it was a “done deal.” Everyone lost their freaking minds. 2-3 hours later word comes out that BS isn’t a candidate. Crickets. Then excuses after they can think of a cover story. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Why would anyone close to the hiring process be blabbing numbers? Why haven’t those numbers been discussed by the media? I made a comment that we would hear from BS no later than next Tuesday 2/18 as if I actually knew something. Everyone lost their minds for a moment. It was too easy to get everyone fired up. I’ve been lurking on this site for 4-5 years and I’ve seen the same stuff repeated just like this over and over again. It’s crazy how many keep buying into it.

Hopefully no one is still buying this stuff. If this info was so easy to find out, or there are that many people blabbing this info to their friends, the media would be all over it. Plus, why would anyone with actual knowledge of this coaching search be so willing to give this info away? Come on, y’all. Surely you aren’t this gullible.

Only 2? That is my normal within 30 minutes, but I might like to drink a lot.
