He's already recruiting some really good players, he saw the differences in play from his old level to his current level with the games against Ohio State and ND and he's making the necessary adjustments. I'm very excited for IUFB now!

If we don't get a serious basketball hire this time around while Coach Cignetti launches the football program to high level play we'll already be a football school. It's always been a dream of mine to see IU become a powerhouse in both sports and I had all but given up on football. Now I'm feeling my passion for our basketball program start to wane while the FB passion waxes. I just pray everyone gets out of the way and lets Dolson and Whitten do their jobs this time around.

I will still care but I'm really excited for IUFB next season after seeing the recruiting he's doing. We just nabbed a big piece for our OLine from Notre Dame yesterday and he's been getting some really good players at QB, RB, and multiple other positions. Football's looking to be really good next year!

Maybe, but how long has he lead teams with that style? It's tough to change up like that when you have a system that you know works. If he speeds up and finds success with it then great. If he keeps it as a methodical chess match but is still successful, I'll accept that too!

For the first time I agree with you. That would be the midmajor I would pull if any. My ONLY concern with him is the speed of play. But hey, if he builds a winning culture I could get used to a turtle race :P

Well as many times as we've talked about it and as many attempts that he's made to get over it, surely that hump is getting as thin as my patience hearing that excuse by now...Right? I mean he's already ripped off the bumpers and fenders of the lowrider that is IU in his haphazard attempts...might as well just blast over it at this point. @!#$ it, blast a hole in the oil pan, rip off an axle and send the fireball hurtling into the canyon if that's what it takes. Yeah it's fun hearing all the stories and learning about how things actually work in the league and they all come with different viewpoints on things so you can really see it from all different levels.

Yes he was and he was one of my favorites. Unfortunately for him he ran into LeBron lol but he knows what it takes to be a star player and dominate at a very high level. His son is a 5 star McDAA and he will do very well in college and the league.

Yeah but he's gonna have a really good player soon. Elijah Arenas just committed to him and that kid is going to be a huge problem for whoever he goes against. Gilbert has him doing pro level training already. Saw a vid of him doing 1v1's against Kevin Durant and other pros and he was giving KD PROBLEMS lol

Tonight was a prime example of how important a good coach is and how no matter how much you spend on talent it will only take you so far if it's not properly coached and developed. I feel bad for the players after this one. We're throwing away multiple winnable games at the end due to a complete lack of coaching.

We should've advanced the ball up court before calling a TO to work an inbound play...That IS on Woodson. And this is all on Woodson. We wouldn't even be here if it weren't for him. Arrogant, lazy, blaming the fans, taking a weak SoS to make himself look good when he's not, barely winning against that weak schedule and losing to good teams due to his piss poor decision making when it really matters. I respectfully have to wholeheartedly disagree with you here.
