I know that but we have even less of an outside game. All options suck right now. So pray Ballo stays out of the clubs and Reneau doesn't hit the bench early. If they do we bring in Hatton again and work the post through him.

Coach has an unbearable ego and blames everyone else for his shortcomings, doesn't recruit or even develop the talent we do have. We're not miserable we're apathetic. We're struggling to care about a program we have always deeply enjoyed. And that's because of the coach and how he has acted beyond his on court duties, his performance as a coach completely aside. We don't want to be negative or harsh about things but what do you do when the only bright spot is February when the coach gets replaced by someone who doesn't just say they care about the program but actually proves it. And it's a public forum, people are going to voice their opinions. Outside of IUBB we enjoy life a great deal I assure you.

You're better off just playing to your strength and cramming the post and try to draw fouls to take their inside guys off the court, make them rely on their outside shooters and hope they're not on fire because our closeouts on threes are terrible. Not a good option either way but that's what we have to work with. Or you can just keep chucking bricks with hope and a prayer and quickly drown in the deficit.

That's not opinion that's fact. Knight was beyond top tier as a coach. He knew ball like no other. As I have stated before, Piss Poor Planning Provides Piss Poor Performance. Knight knew that, Woody somehow didn't pick up on it or anything else from Knight and doesn't have a clue.

That Sleepers episode is all of CBB talking about us right now and it's frankly embarrassing as a fan. This is more embarrassing than still calling myself a White Sox fan after their 41-121(.253) season. IU has talent but no discipline, guidance, or direction...There is zero effort, zero improvement, zero care. Our FB season is done, I do not care about our men's BB team after this last outing. Go Coach Moren and women's BB.

I'm generally an idiot so forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't this particular thread the one specifically created to talk sh-I mean vent our feelings about our HC? I thought this was the "Fire Mike Woodson" thread. Also forgive me if I'm wrong but I assumed being apologetic towards him in this particular thread would lead to being lambasted, dragged, and mocked relentlessly. This is an internet forum after all. Am I wrong?

Good will come in March when Woody and Buckner are no longer allowed to attempt burning the house down while pretending everything is fine lol

Women's basketball team playing really well. At least I can still enjoy watching one of our BB teams play. They're making Wisconsin just look lost out there. Almost forgot, fire Mike Woodson.

Well Cignetti knows our front line was too small and he just got a great quarterback and great running back so we might be in really good shape. A coach that has vision and knows how to recruit, I know, is not something we're accustomed to seeing anymore but we have one now in our FB team. Agreed we do have a lot to prove but I think we're well on our way to doing so. Next season will indeed be very telling.

I just worry about what tricks he might be able to pull to keep Woodson around before he loses his appointment. They've both proven they don't care about the program as much as lining their own pockets and QB won't be out until awhile after the look for a new HC. Who knows what they might try to pull.

Cignetti just recruited a couple very strong players. Woodson just keeps looking worse and worse. Cig's stripping away every excuse Woody could give. 11-1 first season as HC, took the team to the playoffs, recruiting high level key pieces. Rest assured though, ole Woody did his job.

So the schedule projection/line has us facing Ohio State twice. Once away, once at home. Says we're going to lose the away by three but win the home by five. Watching this Ohio State vs Kentucky game(Like Woodson SHOULD BE doing but I guarantee isn't) to see what we're up against and I gotta tell ya, we're not beating them either game and it won't be close. Chalk that up to two losses.

If they had made even a few of the shots they missed we'd be at real risk of losing this.
