(2025)- Trent Sisley to INDIANA
BA47591 replied to Uspshoosier's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Outside of the Dream 3, I think it comes down to Ament and Tiller. With next year's portal big class projected to be the weakest since the portal opened, Tiller can play the post behind or with Reneau and Moreno, so I like that option better, I think Ament is the hotter name in our recruiting process right now though. -

He's committing to IU when he gets back from UConn? -
(2025) - PG Jalen Haralson to Notre Dame

I was all for this guy as a frosh then I got around things a bit and I was turned off by everything about him except the talent. No one has ever said anything positive about playing with him. I think Notre Dame is a great spot for him. -
(2025) - PG Mikel Brown, Jr. to Louisville

Couldn't agree more. DME took a second to register. Dan Panaggio, former assistant coach at IU briefly and everywhere else. He's the co-founder of DME. They've been around 10 years maybe, down in Florida. They're a second tier basketball factory. I don't get the move. There are some shady characters out there hanging on as career guys and Panaggio is the poster child. Everywhere something goes wrong he's there. I'd take a hard pass on this one. -

I know Johnson is a top 15 talent, he just always plays like crap when I watch him. Mingo and Mallory are always great when I watch them, but my idea of point guard is a creator, team leader. Robert Wright III type. -

I've been critical of Woody's decisions with his staff after deciding to fire Fife. Not the firing but the moves after. Walsh having never been a road recruiter before, being given the territory handled by Fife was startling. He's had it trimmed down a bit with Rosemond and Hunter being connected in their perspective regions. He's had a lot of help with initial connections and handling the on campus relationship building with Hulls involvement. All that being said, if he can have his name on the top line of "Dream Class" he will fast track his career by a decade or more. Adam Howard has his limitations with his job title in the same way Jordy does, but they make a heckuva 3-headed monster in what has always been a gold mine area for talent. I won't lie, the dumpster full of money we have to give Moreno and our big man development plan does make me feel a bit more confident than I would have. -

Dominos falling a bit now with the guards: Next 4: Peterson-Kansas, Thomas-UConn, Jasper Johnson-Kentucky, Mullins-Indiana I think Shrewsbury's hard work pays off in here somewhere. Haralson-Koehler??? -

Adam Howard's best friend is Moreno's older brother. That in a vacuum wouldn't be a huge deal, but we're pitching day one start at the 5. Ware is a fine advertisement right now, we'll match or exceed nil and there's the relationships with the other two. Garrison may be in the way at UK. If we don't land him, we did all we could. -

I now have every reason to believe that we have the Ballel Rick trio in the bag. The Adam Howard addition may have locked this up. There has to be a world if we're big man tech where we could bring in two bigs on potentially different timeliness. Next year's 5 spot portal doesn't project well. -

I says he wants to see how indiana let's their guards play this year. Ole Miss has been believed to be the leader here forever but I think we have a shot. After Sisley locked him up on multiple occasions this summer I'm not for sure where I'm at on him. -
(2025)-PF Bryson Tiller to Kansas

I wish we had a time table with him. His player profile reads like Reneau's. If that killer switch ever flips to the on position with him he's a top 5 player. -
(2025) - SF Nate Ament

Physically he's got some work to do but he passes the eye test as a potential 1st round draft pick. Woodys going to check the hs recruiting box this year. -

Omg.... Brian Walsh is going to pull this off. The Adam Howard-Moreno family connection was a slick chess move too. -

I caught Jakai workout when he first started doing non-contact stuff. First thing I can say is he's a really good young man. I thought Keith Smart at 220 with a 6'10" wingspan. I'm pulling really hard for this guy. I still think if we redshirted Cupps this year next year they'd both be sophomores with Tucker. -
We should have the lowest recruiting budget in years for the 27' class.

I hope not. The sooner that becomes common knowledge the sooner Sisley commits to IU. Then there's a chance to reel in the big fella. -

From everything I've heard on the big three, something drastic would have to happen in order to lose Mullins. Haralson complicates the quest for all three. Maybe Rick can confirm this. -

After the chemistry and success the Elite squad had this summer I feel like the effort has been made by Montverde to land all three of the fellas. They have Weis from the 26' class. -

He'll be a fine replacement for Flagg. He's not as long but same skill set. Better shooter. This is a place where he can go head-to-head with Haralson on the national stage and totally disrupt the rankings system.
