Seems like and probably… You seem to have a great deal of confidence Either that, or an agenda

#2 Alabama up 3 at halftime v Arkansas State. Oates must not know how to coach and the Tide is gonna ebb abysmally in KenPom rankings!

Wonder if it would make sense to let the facts come out, one way or the other, before passing judgement. Realize that’s not the nature of message boards, or society in general. Until the truth comes out, character assassination of anyone involved seems like it’s agenda driven. For all parties sake, I hope this decision helps the IU basketball program but also helps Adam Howard.

Ask his players how he acts behind closed doors. By all accounts, they love him. -

Was listening to a Joel Klatt interview earlier today. He said that he is constantly getting texted from coaches around the country, and they're all talking about Cig. -

Great win for first game. Lots to build on. The FMW thread restarting is predictable and pathetic. -

So, define”beat the tar.” Teams ranked similarly to us… Purdue won by 17 in their first game Tennessee by 16 Texas A & M lost We are on schedule to win by 20+. Yes, I was actually paying attention last year. Really a sad commentary of our fanbase to get so angst filled over the first 20 minutes of the season -

You guys really gonna go all ballistic over a game like this? If they play like this against good teams then be concerned. First game. Lots of new combinations in the lineup. -

wring your hands. Sky is falling. If we are playing like this in February then there’s a concern -
I’ll stand by my statement that the AR experiment is wasting Taylor’s best years. I’m sure he’s regretting not filing for FA like Saquon . And, if the Colts want to continue with the AR debacle, I hope that the season ticket holders revolt and ask for a refund.

So, the reality is, if you give up your daily Starbucks at $6-7.00 a day, this is feasible. Priorties, people! Priorities!

A bowl game is better than no post season but a playoff berth will have a much greater impact on recruiting, fundraising and the overall tone of the program. There will only be 12 playoff teams v how many bowl teams? In terms that this fanbase is more accustomed to… it’s the difference between being in the NCAA tournament v being in the NIT. Finally, with the way this team has played this season, I see no reason to even consider losing a first round game.

Isn’t this the time of year when we collectively say, “Damn, I’m so glad that basketball season has started!”

Notre Dame is in on reputation only. Their one quality win, over Texas A & M, is losing its luster after the Aggies lost their 2nd game yesterday. They also finish the season v Texas, so most likely will be a 3 loss team. The Irish’ second best win, Navy, was just beaten handily by 3-6 Rice. ND will likely end the season v USC who might very well have a losing record. I just don’t see anything that jumps out to justify ND as a playoff team. Add their home loss to NIU, who has gone 2-4 since beating the Irish, and they just aren’t that impressive.

Hope he’s in Bloomington next weekend. Place should be crazy. I cannot imagine that USC can generate the excitement and electricity that will be in Memorial Stadium next Saturday.
