Braylon Mullins (2025) SG - to UConn

His tantrum hit piece on the staff and proclamations of the entire team leaving and Woodson "losing the locker room". Ya, Rabjohns really knows his sh*t lol -

Well condolences then on what should be a long, suffering season for you. -

No that was faux outrage manufactured by Rabjohns who just had his access cut off. Made a big deal of it because Painter was there who ended up with zero of those recruits. And you root for the team to lose and said you aren't watching this year. Why do you care anyway? -

Or the kid wanted to play for the best program in the country? The two time defending national champions. Says more where Hurley and UConn are at than anything. -

Woodson offered and prioritized Mullins almost an entire year before Hurley even knew who Mullins was. Try again.. -

Agree to an extent but Hurley was more than pedestrian his first 4 years at UConn. Literally nothing after his first 4 seasons suggested he'd put together back to back seasons like he just did. I don't think it's a coincidence that UConn took off the year Hurley handed the reigns over to Murray to run the offense. UConn had KenPom ORtg of 85, 64, 27, and 22 before finishing 3 and 1 respectively the last two seasons. Obviously UConn was improving but they went to a whole new level with Murray. -

Thanks for the info. Have seen a few of his tweets and seemed B10 oriented but wasn't sure his background. -

No clue who this is but appreciate him calling out the fragility from a portion of this fan base that makes a 14 year old girl look stable. It’s embarrassing. https://x.com/itsantwright/status/1846187803173855279?s=46&t=w6QCfPv_ohX9q670DTqgcA https://x.com/itsantwright/status/1846250584778698821?s=46&t=w6QCfPv_ohX9q670DTqgcA -
(2025) QB - Julian Lewis to Colorado (for now)
AH1971 replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
Cherry was a much better high school QB than Tayven, coming from the same high school. Center Grove was still a very run-oriented team with Tayven under center and threw out of luxury the majority of the time. Center Grove changed their entire offense around Cherry and would imagine he owns just about every CG passing record. Tayven is more a more athletic, mobile QB than Cherry but Cherry as a pocket passer has an enormous ceiling. -

No. The collective freakout that ensued was the thought that Woodson should have been out recruiting the portal (during dead week) instead of playing golf and because he was playing golf instead of recruiting the portal (during dead week) we weren't going to land anybody "good" in the portal and the usual gloom and doom followed the next couple days. -

I'll never forget when this thread blew up and several posters lost their collective minds while Woody was golfing down at the F4 (during dead week) only to have him land 3 top 25 transfers within the next 10 days. Good times. -

Pre-Covid I would have agreed with you, post-Covid and with how many times the NCAA has lost in court, I wouldn’t be so sure. The NCAA already has extending eligibility from 4 years to 5 years as standard procedure on the table as is. Assuming Goode plays the entire season this year, he will have finished his career playing only 3 1/3 seasons. In a world where we’ve seen the NCAA grant full 6th, 7th, and in an extreme case, a 9th season to a Miami football player, the NCAA granting a 5th season to Goode under his specific circumstance doesn’t seem too far-fetched at all. In fact, it seems probable, especially if he puts up a decent fight. -

A class of Tiller, Brown, and Sisley would be a helluva class on paper yet would still feel underwhelming given misses to Mullins and Haralson. That being said, the days of putting all your chips in on high school recruits are long gone. Very real chance a portal player emerges and has a bigger impact than Haralson/Mullins in the 1-2 years they’re in school. Just the new nature of the game. -

Murray was named the offensive coordinator at UConn just prior to the start of the 22-23 season and had previously worked for Hurley at Wagner and Rhode Island. Mack/Murray were very successful at Xavier prior to Louisville and had KenPom ORtg of 15, 18, 29, and 8. Murray's primary role at Louisville was recruiting coordinator yet Louisville still had top 30 KenPom offenses during Murray/Mack first two years there before the wheels came off in year three because of off the court issues -

Tyme isn't wrong about Murray. UConn's rise directly coincides with Murray being hired to the staff. Hurley's seat was getting very warm entering year 5 and the rest is history. -

Because he made “promises” to Edwards and Wagner. Sheppard and Dillingham went 3rd and 8th in the draft and had 6 combined starts between them. This is why I will never feel bad about missing out on a 5* with a list of demands. -
Anybody have an update on Jailin Walker? Bye week couldn't have come at a better time.
